Zoho Desk is a cloud-based customer support and online helpdesk software. Zoho Desk offers many features such as sales, marketing, customer support, financials and analytics (Zoho Inc., 2013. With the integration of Zoho Desk and SproutVideo, users can create and monitor videos with their customers. In addition, users can also use the two tops to communicate with their customers in real time.
SproutVideo is a cloud-based video creation and hosting software that allows users to create videos within minutes (SproutVideo, 2015. It gives users with a platform to edit videos, record new videos as well as uploading existing videos. It provides users with various features such as adding text to videos, inserting calls to action as well as embedding videos on other websites.
There are two main steps in integrating Zoho Desk and SproutVideo:
After these steps are completed, you can start communicating with your customers through video conversations on Zoho Desk. The fplowing diagram illustrates the process for creating a video using SproutVideo and then embedding the video onto the Zoho Desk ticket form.
First, log into your SproutVideo dashboard and then click on “New Video” located at the top left corner of your screen (SproutVideo, 2015. You will then be directed to a page where you can upload an existing video or create a new one. Since this is a first time tutorial, I will show you how to create a video from scratch. To do so, click on “Start Recording” and then complete the form as shown below in Figure 1:

After entering all the information in the form, click on “Record”. You will be directed to the recording screen where you can record your message. When you are done recording your message, click on “Save” located at the top right corner of your screen (SproutVideo, 2015. On the next page, you can preview your video by clicking on “Preview” located at the top right corner of your screen (SproutVideo, 2015. If you want to make changes to your video before you publish it, click on “Edit” located beside “View” and then make the necessary changes (SproutVideo, 2015. If everything is okay with your video, click on “Publish” located beside “View”. This will publish your video immediately to your channel (SproutVideo, 2015. To view the published video, go back to your dashboard and click on “My Videos” located at the top left corner of your screen (SproutVideo, 2015. You will be redirected to a page where you can view all your videos (SproutVideo, 2015. To view more details about your published video, click on the title of the video or its thumbnail image (SproutVideo, 2015.
First, log into your Zoho Desk dashboard and go to Ticket > Add Ticket > New Ticket form . Then fill out the form as shown in Figure 2. Figure 2. Finally, go to Ticket > All Tickets > All Tickets and then click on “View Ticket” under Ticket #1 if there is any ticket created (Zoho Inc., 2013. By integrating SproutVideo with Zoho Desk, both tops give their users a platform for communication in real time as well as using various features such as recording audio messages or images and uploading them onto their channels. Additionally, users can also add calls-to-action or web links so that they can gather feedback or increase traffic by directing customers to their website.
