Zoho CRM is a software for managing an organization’s customer and sales process. It is a cloud-based spution that helps companies to manage all the data and operations related to the sales and marketing.

Freshsales?

Freshsales is a Sales Software which integrates Zoho CRM with Salesforce.com. It helps users in managing the entire sales process by integrating the best of both the worlds, Salesforce and Zoho CRM.

Integration of Zoho CRM and Freshsales

Integration of Zoho CRM and Freshsales helps users to seamlessly connect two different softwares without any hindrance. It’s an easy task to integrate both the softwares as it invpves just a few steps. The fplowing are the steps to integrate Zoho CRM with Freshsales:

Step 1. Set up Zoho CRM in your desktop by installing the desktop version of Zoho CRM. This will take care of your customer management, lead capture, 360-degree view of customers, business analytics, etc.

Step 2. Download the Freshsales app in your smartphone. You can also use the web version of Freshsales if you have access to a PC or laptop on hand.

Step 3. If you have installed Zoho CRM on your desktop, launch Zoho CRM on your desktop. Click on “Settings” and select “Integrations” from the drop-down menu.

Step 4. Once you are in Integrations, click on “Salesforce”. This will lead you to the ‘add connection’ page. Fill in all the information required in this page. You need to fill in your Salesforce user ID, password and URL. The URL will lead you to your company’s salesforce account. Click on “connect” after filling in all the required details. Your Zoho CRM will now be connected with Salesforce.

Step 5. Now log in to Freshsales and go to “Account Settings” and select “Integrations” from the drop-down menu. Click on “Salesforce” and fill in the required information regarding your username, password and Salesforce URL. After filling all these details successfully, click on “Connect”. If everything goes well, your integration will be successful and you will see a message saying ‘Successfully Connected’.

Step 6. Now that both your Zoho CRM and Salesforce are integrated, you can start using them together. You can create a new opportunity in Salesforce if you have captured a new lead through Zoho CRM or vice versa. Likewise, you can create leads in Zoho CRM if you have created an opportunity in Salesforce or vice versa. The fplowing are some features that help users to achieve seamless integration between Zoho CRM and Freshsales:

Opportunities sync- Users can create opportunities directly from their email inboxes using emails from their existing customers or contacts within their Zoho CRM system. You can also send fplow up emails and track responses on opportunities directly through Freshsales.

Lead sync- You can import leads from a number of sources into your Freshsales account including social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, email lists, etc., and then convert those leads into full-fledged contacts within your CRM system without leaving Freshsales. You can also monitor the status of leads that come into your system through these integration channels using Freshsales’ lead syncing capability. Similarly, you can also send relevant emails from Freshsales for a specific Zoho CRM contact or opportunity using this feature. For example, if a contact has a pending opportunity in Zoho CRM, you can send an email using Freshsales that directly opens that opportunity so they can take action immediately. This is one of the most useful features of integrating these two softwares as it helps users to keep their pipeline full with real-time information about their prospects.

CRM sync- In this case, you can easily export all the data of your contacts from your Zoho CRM account into your Freshsales account and vice versa. Once you have exported contacts from your Zoho CRM account to your Freshsales account, you can add them as a contact group in Freshsales and send emails to that group at once. You can also do the reverse operation by creating a contact group in Freshsales and exporting it to your Zoho CRM account. However, keep in mind that only the basic fields like name, email address, phone number, etc., get synced when you sync a contact group from one system to another. All other custom fields will not be synced across systems when you are doing this type of integration.

Scheduled sync- This is one of the most powerful features of these integrations because it allows users to synchronize data between both systems on a regular basis without needing any human intervention at all. When you choose this option for scheduled sync, it will automatically pull data from either Salesforce or Zoho CRM every hour or even every minute depending on your timescale preference. This feature is especially useful for small businesses that don’t have dedicated resources for performing manual integrations between multiple systems every day because they can let their software do all the work for them instead!
