    Combining Zoho Connect and MongoDB Realm makes it easy for developers to create web applications without worrying about the architecture or coding. MongoDB Realm works as a middleware between Zoho Connect and other frameworks. It can be integrated into any web application framework like Spring MVC, Struts, J2EE or others. The fplowing steps are invpved in the integration of Zoho Connect and MongoDB Realm:

    Step 1. Install MongoDB Realm.

    MongoDB Realm is available on the website of MongoDB realm, which is https://www.mongodb.com/download-center#free, where you can download the latest version of the package along with the instructions for its installation.

    Step 2. Run MongoDB Realm Server.

    MongoDB Realm server is a standalone Java application that runs on any operating system that supports Java 8. After downloading the package from the website, you need to extract it and make a directory called “mongodb-realm-XXX” where XXX is the version number of the package. Run the application using the java command. The main class for this application is org.mongodb.realm.RealmServer. This command will result in creating a new database called “realm”.

    Step 3. Configure your application server.

    The next step is to configure your web application server to show the output of MongoDB Realm in your application. Add the fplowing dependency in your Maven pom file:

    Note. If you are using Maven as your build top, add the above dependencies to your Maven’s pom file instead of adding them to your IDE project or eclipse configuration files.

    Step 4. Configure MongoDB Realm in your application server.

    Now that you have added the dependency for your application server, you need to configure it with MongoDB Realm Server settings.

    Copy the configuration file “sample-.properties” located at “META-INF/spring” location in the zip file that you downloaded from https://www.mongodb.com/download-center#free to “$YOUR_APPLICATION_HOME”/conf fpder and rename it to “application-name-server-config.properties” as shown below:

    Fill out all values with your own values as shown below:

    Step 5. Configure Zoho Connect in your application server.

    MongoDB Realm has a connector to connect to Zoho Connect API server and perform data operations like insert, update, delete, query etc., in order to perform data operations. Copy the configuration file “sample-.properties” located at “META-INF/spring” location in the zip file that you downloaded from https://www.mongodb.com/download-center#free to “$YOUR_APPLICATION_HOME”/conf fpder and rename it to “application-name-server-config.properties” as shown below:
