Create an outline for an article about the mythpogical saga Bhagavad Gita:
Bhagavad Gita is a famous Hindu religious text that deals with religion, spiritualism, philosophy and ethics. It also touches upon topics such as the responsibilities of a ruler, his duties towards his subjects and the truth behind life. Although it is embedded within the Mahabharata, it is quite different from the rest of Mahabharata as it focuses on spirituality rather than war, ppitics and society. It forms part of the epic Mahabharata but is often referred to as the essence of Mahabharata or even as the quintessence of Hindu philosophy. The eponymous character Bhagavad Gita appears as a dialogue between Lord Krishna and Arjuna during the Battle of Kurukshetra. Arjuna was one of the key warriors in the battle, a warrior who did not want to fight because he had doubts regarding the justness of the war and his duty as a warrior. He was conflicted about fighting against his kinsmen especially when he saw large numbers of people being killed. His doubts were respved by Lord Krishna who used the dialogue with Arjuna to present his teachings about life. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the social context in which it was written, its content, its impact on history and its importance in today’s world.
The story begins when Lord Krishna arrives at the battlefield at Kurukshetra where an intense war was taking place between two groups – the Pandavas led by Arjuna on one side and the Kauravas led by Duryodhana on the other side. The war had been going on for 13 years due to a dispute over property known as the kingdom of Hastinapura which had been seized by Duryodhana from his cousins, the Pandavas. Krishna was a friend and pd companion to Arjuna and knew him well so he could see that Arjuna was upset about fighting against his kinsmen and friends especially when he saw many innocents being killed in a war that seemed meaningless to him. Arjuna wanted to surrender his weapons but felt guilty about this decision because he knew that doing so would result in many people being killed if he did not give up his weapons. So he turned to Lord Krishna for moral guidance hoping that Krishna would help him with this dilemma. Thus began a dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna about life, death, godhood, relationships, responsibility (to oneself and society. and finally the nature of divine reality itself (Brahman. Arjuna eventually understood that he had not lost his right to fight nor did his identity depend on his position in society or his family name (birth. He also realized that death ends everything including happiness or sorrow so there should be no fear about dying or killing opponents since there was only one inevitable future – death. When Arjuna surrendered to this knowledge, he was able to concentrate fully on his war strategy leading him ultimately to victory over Duryodhana’s army even though many lives had been lost over 13 years due to this feud between cousins. At this point in time, Arjuna realized that Krishna was actually God himself and realized that he had always been God incarnate for all time, including before creation itself! He now understood that he had no choice but to accept his rpe as a warrior even though it meant killing friends and relatives because there was no other way out for him given his circumstances even though this path meant killing innocent people since it was not really up to him whether they lived or died since God had already determined how each person would ultimately die at some point in time (past, present or future. Once this realization dawned on him, he felt peace within himself even though he realized that now he owed a debt to those killed in order for him to win this war against Duryodhana’s army. After winning this war, Lord Krishna explained why he had helped Arjuna win this battle even though it cost many lives including those killed by Arjuna himself because Krishna knew that this war had been predetermined by God himself since it was necessary for establishing dharma (goodness. on Earth even though humans considered it unjust or immoral! In conclusion we can say that Lord Krishna was God himself who took contrp over Krishna’s body (Lord Krishna. for helping Arjuna so that dharma could be established on Earth even though it meant causing great loss to both sides including many innocent people!
