If you are trying to write your business plan for a specific purpose, let’s say for example you are writing your business plan because you want funding from a bank or investor, then it is also very important that you know exactly what return on investment (ROI. you want to see out of your business venture because this will be one of the things you will have to explain in your business plan as well! So before you even begin writing your business plan, make sure that you write out everything that you want your business venture to accomplish for yourself! Then once you have all your goals and objectives listed out for yourself then move on to writing out step 2!

Step 2. Know What Products Or Services You Would Like To Provide To Your Customers!

If you are starting a brand new company then chances are that you will not have any products or services at first and if this is the case then I recommend that you read chapter 7 again where I go over how you can create your own products or provide your own services! But if you already have products or services then it is time for you to consider whether or not they are something that people would be willing to pay money for! So get out there into society and start doing some research about the products or services that you would like to provide in order for you to make sure that they are something that people will be willing to pay money for! Once you have determined that people would be willing to pay money for your products or services then go on to step 3!

Step 3. Determine How Much Money You Need To Start Your Business Venture!

The most important thing that needs to happen next is determining how much money you need in order for your business venture to be launched successfully! Now when I say how much money I mean exactly how much money because we want to be as accurate as possible when determining the amount of funds we need in order for our business venture to be launched successfully so that we will not have any surprises down the road that could potentially cause us problems! So one of the best ways that I have found that works really well is breaking up your projected expenses into weekly amounts because this way it will end up being more accurate than just breaking up your projected expenses into monthly amounts! I know that might sound crazy but sometimes even monthly amounts can be too high especially when you are just starting out! So I always recommend breaking up your projected expenses into weekly amounts so that way it will be much easier and more accurate in determining how much money you actually need in order for your business venture to be launched successfully! You can either do this manually by listing out every single expense that comes along with starting up your business venture on a separate piece of paper or by using software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Docs! If you choose to use Microsoft Excel or Google Docs then I recommend creating two separate spreadsheets, one spreadsheet for all of your fixed expenses such as rent/mortgage payments, insurance premiums, phone bills etc., and another spreadsheet for all of your variable expenses such as food/beverage purchases, office supplies, travel expenses etc., otherwise if you just put everything into one spreadsheet then it might be very hard for you later on down the road when it comes time to determine how much money is left over at the end of each week! Once you have determined all of your projected expenses then go on to step 4!
