uProc is a cloud-based accounting application. Normally, accounting applications have to be downloaded to use them, but uProc is different. You can use it from any device because it’s all stored in the cloud. It does this by using a unique file format called EBS.

Integration of Zoho Books and uProc

Many businesses use both Zoho Books and uProc. But many times they don’t know how to integrate the two programs. Here is a brief guide on how to do so:

Step 1. Download your bank transactions

Step 2. Open Zoho Books and go to “Reports” and choose “Accounting Reports”

Step 3. Select “Open Balance Sheet”

Step 4. Select “Export to Excel” and then select “uProc” as “Output Format” (It should be selected by default)

Step 5. Save the file as an excel file onto your computer

Step 6. Open uProc and go to “Accounts” and create a new account for “Zohobooks Declarations”

Step 7. Click on “Import from Excel” and select the file you saved earlier

Step 8. Click on “Next” and wait for the import list to populate (this takes a few seconds)

Step 9. Select the accounts you want imported into uProc (you will usually want to select all if you are not sure which ones are relevant to you. and click “Finish”
