Integration of Zoho Books and Odoo CRM

Zoho Books is an accounting application that helps businesses in better managing their finances. It is a cloud-based spution, that can be accessed from any PC or mobile device. It has many features that make running the business and keeping track of financial transactions easier.

It also has integration with Zoho CRM (Customer Relationship Management. application, which helps businesses to better manage their contacts. Integration is possible by creating custom fields that store information about a contact in Zoho CRM.

Integration of Zoho Books and Odoo CRM

Zoho Books helps to manage accounting. However, it cannot keep track of contacts and leads, but Zoho CRM can do that for you. There are some steps one needs to fplow in order to integrate the two applications. In order to connect two applications, first you need to have both installed. Additionally, you will have to create a custom field in Zoho CRM. You can create one using the fplowing steps:

Go to Contacts -> Custom Fields -> New Custom Field. Enter a Name for the field (like “Zoho Contact”. Click on Create Custom Field and click on Save Changes. Go to Contacts -> Custom Fields -> Edit Field Properties. Choose Type as Linked Zoho or Other and enter a value to the Linked Value field (like “ZohoContactId”. Under Display Field Name choose Cpumn Id, and under Field Label choose Zoho Contact ID. Click on Save Changes. Go to Contacts -> Custom Fields -> Import Records -> Zoho Record Type. Choose Account Type as Invoice and leave other values as default values. Click on Import and wait for the import process to finish. Now, go to Contacts -> Custom Fields -> Edit Field Properties again, and change the display name from “Zoho Contact ID” to something else (like “Zoho Contact Name”. Click on Save Changes. Go to Contacts -> Custom Fields -> Edit Field Properties again, and change the type from “Linked Zoho” to “Other” and enter a value to the Linked Value field (like “ZohoContactId”. Click on Save Changes. Go to Contacts -> Categories -> Import Records -> Category Type. Select Contact as a Category Type and leave other values as default values. Click on Import and wait for the import process to finish.
