Zendesk is a company that provides customer helpdesk software. It has been founded in Denmark in 2007 and was acquired by the American company Salesforce.com in 2014. The company headquarters are located in San Francisco, California. Zendesk has more than 79000 customers, including Mozilla, Facebook, Disney, and the International Olympic Committee. Microsoft To-Do is a task management application created by the American software corporation Microsoft. It was released on March 7th, 2018 as part of the Microsoft Office 365 suite. The application is available in both Android and iOS.
Microsoft entered the field of task management applications with the release of Microsoft To-Do. It can be used as an alternative to other task management applications, such as Wunderlist or Asana, but also to Microsoft’s own Project and OneNote apps. It offers features like reminders, due dates, location-based alerts and the possibility to create multiple lists. One of the most important features of Microsoft To-Do is that it is tightly integrated with all other Office 365 apps. This means that you can add tasks to a list in Outlook and then open them directly in To-Do on your phone. If you work for example with SharePoint and Project, you can integrate their data into To-Do so that you always have the most relevant information about your project tasks in one place. As a consequence of its integration with Office 365, To-Do is only available to users of this suite, which is why many people do not know about its existence.
