According to YouTube, “YouTube is the world's largest video site. It was created in 2005 by three former PayPal employees in San Mateo, CA. In 2006 the site was acquired by Google Inc. (NASDAQ. GOOG. for $1.65 billion in stock.” This is a free service that allows users to upload, share and view videos. As of October 2013, YouTube has over 1 billion unique monthly visitors who view more than 6 billion hours of video per month. There are over 300 hours of video uploaded to YouTube every minute. In this case study I will be exploring YouTube and HubSpot CRM and how they can work together to increase sales and revenue.
In order to integrate YouTube and HubSpot CRM, HubSpot will need to create a plugin that will allow your HubSpot landing page to play the embedded video from YouTube when someone clicks on the “View Video” button on your landing page. If you have already used HubSpot CRM, then you may have already noticed that there is no “View Video” button on your landing pages. This is because HubSpot does not use YouTube videos by default. However, HubSpot offers an add-on called “HubSpot Video Integration” which allows users to send the video directly to their own landing pages or embed the video on their blog posts or pages. In order to use this plugin you must have access to both HubSpot CRM and YouTube accounts.
Once you have downloaded and installed this add-on, you will then be able to place a link in your landing page and in your blog post or page that directs people to the specific video from YouTube. Once someone clicks on this link, they will be directed to the video from Youtube. This will increase the number of views as well as the number of shares. The more views you get, the higher ranking your video will have on the search engine results page (SERP. It is also important that you include keywords in your video description. This plays a big rpe in your SEO strategy because if you do not have these keywords in your video description then Google has nothing to pull up when someone searches for that keyword on Google. You can write a blog post or create a video about another topic and include keywords that are related to your business so that people searching for those keywords will be interested in watching your video.
Once you have completed uploading a video on YouTube, it is important to optimize this video with keywords that relate to your business so that when people search for those keywords they will find your video and watch it. When optimizing a video with keywords, you will need to first identify relevant keywords that relate to topics that are related to your business then insert these keywords into your video title, tags, and description.
