Xzazu is a cloud-based, easy to use student response system that allows students to respond to questions with text input, multiple choice answers, or even drawing and image uploads.

Google Forms?

Google Forms is a free application that allows users to create quizzes, surveys, and forms using spreadsheets or a form builder. The free version of Google Form does not allow you to publish the results of the responses but you can share them by email. If you have a Google Apps for Education account, you can access the responses on your computer or mobile device. In addition to embedding the survey on your website, you can embed it in a blog or other webpages.

Integration of Xzazu and Google Forms

The integration between Xzazu and Google Forms is made through a simple URL “shortcut” – https://www.google.com/forms/d/{question_id}/viewform?c=0&w=1&usp=drive_web. This link will open the question in Google Forms, which is fully integrated with Xzazu!

Your students will be able to click on a link (or use the Chrome extension. and take their assessment on any browser or device without downloading anything. Students will be able to take the test directly from your class website instead of having to log into a separate service. You can easily embed your form into a static webpage. You can customize the look of your survey by editing the CSS file for your form. All answers are stored in one place so it is easier to retrieve them later on. If you have multiple Google Forms on one page, you can easily copy and paste questions from one to another. There are no limits to the number of questions or how many responses you can have. You can set up notifications that will tell you when students have submitted responses from within your classroom management software such as Gmail, Canvas, PowerSchop, etc. You can create an open-ended answer question which will allow students to type in whatever they want without having to select either multiple choice option or write their answers down. This is great for in-class activities where students can just ask questions and get feedback from their peers or teacher without having to type anything out.
