There is no doubt that Chatter is a very popular software, it can be integrated with any eCommerce platform such as Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce etc. This blog will help you understand how to integrate WooCommerce with Chatter and what benefits we can get from it.

Integration of WooCommerce and Chatter

WooCommerce is an open source platform which is built on WordPress. It allows us to create an online store and manage the inventory. So, the integration of WooCommerce with Chatter will allow us to manage our inventory both on web store and in Chatter. Let’s have a look at the steps.

Step 1. Install WooCommerce plugin in Chatter

In this step, we will install WooCommerce plugin in Chatter. At first, you need to log in to your WordPress site using your admin account and then go to plugins >> add new.

Search for WooCommerce plugin in the search bar and install it. After installing it, you will see a message saying that the plugin has been successfully installed.

Step 2. Create a product in WooCommerce and add the product to Chatter feed

After installing WooCommerce plugin in Chatter, let’s create a product in WooCommerce. In this example, I have created a product named “iPhone Case”. After creating the product, you will see a button saying “add to feed”. Click on this button. Similarly, you can add more products to your feed.

Step 3. Create a page in Chatter and add your product feed

After adding your products in the product feed, you need to create a page where you can display all your products. In this example, I have created a page named “Store”. So, go to pages >> create new and create a page. After creating a page, you’ll see a button saying “add widgets”. Click on this button. Now click on “+ Add Widgets” here and select WooCommerce Product Feed widget and click on “Add Widget” button. You can also add more widgets by clicking on “Add More Widgets” button.

Now, you are ready to display all your products in your page of your choice (in this example, it is Store page. You can also customize the look and feel of the products which is displayed in the page by going to Customize >> Widgets >>WooCommerce Product Feed >> Edit Settings.
