Google CloudPrint is a web service provided by Google Labs, which allows users to print documents from any device to a printer connected to the Internet. It also allows you to print from any application in a browser and in any operating system (Windows and Mac and Android and iOS and BlackBerry. It uses HTTP/HTTPS POST requests to send the content to the service along with information about the printer that you want to use. It then sends the print job to the printer for printing.

In order to integrate Vtiger with Google CloudPrint, we have to install the Google Cloud Print API’s along with a plugin called ‘gCloudPrintPlugin’ in Vtiger. We have to enable the API’s in Vtiger and then install the plugin after registering it in our instance of Vtiger. After installing the plugin, we have to add a few fields in our form, which will help us choose the printer that we want to use for printing, select the size of the paper that we want to use for printing, specify the number of copies that we want to print and finally, we have to choose the file name for printing.

Once we have filled up all these details in our form, we have to save it and publish it. After publishing our form, we can view a new tab in our Vtiger interface named ‘Print’, where we can see the options for sending the content to Google Cloud Print. This will enable us to send our content for printing from anywhere within our application without having to go through other applications or websites.
