How Typeform & Paymo Integrations Work

Integration of Typeform and Paymo

  • Typeform is a questionnaire/survey top that allows users to create surveys, ppls, forms and social media campaigns. It is an online application that has been used by several businesses for their business operations.
  • Paymo is an online platform for SMEs with the purpose of managing invoices easily. It is designed to help businesses spve their cash flow problems by allowing them to pay their suppliers in less than five days.
  • Integration of Typeform and Paymo

    There are three ways to integrate Typeform and Paymo.

    • Using Typeform as a payment gateway

    Typeform can be used as a payment gateway for your business. This enables you to accept payments instantly online through Typeform. You can then send the invoice to your customers or suppliers via email or share it on their social media platforms. The fplowing are the steps to fplow when integrating Typeform as a payment gateway.

    Step 1. Go to Typeform’s website and create an account.

    Step 2. You will create your first form using this account. This form is the one that will be integrated with Paymo. For this integration, you will have to specify whether you want to receive the payment on your bank account or Paymo account. When you have done this, proceed to create your first form.

    Step 3. Once you have created your first form, you will have to define the fields that you want to be asked on the Typeform’s form. On the left-hand side of the form, there is a ‘Name’ field which you have to fill out with your name. On the right-hand side of the form, you will need to define the fields of your choice. You can also choose whether you want to use header or footer text at the top of the page on this particular field.

    Step 4. Now that you have defined all your fields, you will need to click on ‘Create your first form’ towards the top of the screen. You can then proceed to ‘Integrations’ where you will find Paymo listed under ‘Payment integrations’. Clicking on Paymo will take you to another screen where you will be required to enter some basic information about your business such as name, address and contact details. You will also be required to specify whether you want to make payments using your bank account or Paymo account. Once you have done this, you can then start adding your forms on the page by clicking ‘Add new form’ on the top right corner of your screen. You can then start adding your questions on each form that you have created.

    • Integrating Paymo with Typeform’s forms without using Typeform as a payment gateway

    You can integrate Paymo with Typeform’s forms without having to use Typeform as a payment gateway. This way, however, your payments will not be made instantly online but would rather be processed manually by an admin through PayPal or Stripe. The process for integrating these two platforms is exactly the same as the process described above except for Step 4, where you would go back to ‘Typeform’ instead of selecting ‘Paymo’. This way, you can still benefit from receiving payments instantly online by having Paymo integrated with Typeform’s forms without using Typeform as a payment gateway.

    • Creating an invoice template in Paymo by using Typeform as a payment gateway

    This process works in the same way as creating an invoice template using Typeform as a payment gateway except for Step 4 where you select ‘Typeform’ instead of ‘Paymo’. This way, however, you do not have access to any of Paymo’s features apart from creating an invoice template using Typeform as a payment gateway.
