    Twilio is a cloud-based communications platform. It allows developers to build, deploy and manage communications such as voice, SMS, and MMS for their applications.

    Alegra?

    Alegra is a customer service software which allows companies to better automate and scale their customer service operations. It provides products such as live chat, email, social media, phone calls and surveys.

    • Customer Support:

    Using Twilio and Alegra together would allow customers to receive all their communications from the same application. It eliminates the need for customers to use multiple channels such as phone, chat or email to communicate with companies. Customers will have a single point of contact through an easy to use interface which allows them to communicate via the channel they prefer. For example, if a customer wants to contact a company using live chat, all they have to do is click on the live chat button and start chatting. They do not have to go through a separate interface to find out how to reach out to a company via live chat. The company can also integrate phone calls into this interface. This means the customer can initiate a chat session, leave a voice message or send an email directly from the interface without going through a series of steps. This is a lot more convenient for them because it saves them the time it would take to open up another application and navigate through its menus in order to contact a company. It also gives companies an opportunity to offer customers different ways of contacting them from the same platform. For example, a restaurant could provide its customers with a link that sends a customer a text message when their table is ready. Such a link could be provided via email or a banner on the website. Customers can also be sent a survey from the same platform. This can be used for feedback, market research etc. Surveys can be sent via SMS or email depending on what is most convenient for the customer. The restaurant in our example could ask its customers to take part in a survey after their meal in order to improve their service in future. All they have to do is choose the type of communication they want (email or SMS. when they are given the link (which may be via email or on the website. If they do not want to take part in the survey then they can simply ignore the link. A restaurant could also reward customers who complete the survey by offering them any discount they like (the discount might be offered in the form of an SMS.

    • Chatbot:

    Companies can use Twilio and Alegra together to create chatbots which can serve customers or provide information about their services. For example, an airline company could create a chatbot which helps passengers at the airport get information about their flights. The chatbot would be able to answer questions such as “where is my gate” or “what time does my flight depart”. Companies can also use these chatbots for marketing purposes. For example, an airline company could use it to promote sales for upcoming sales by asking passengers if they would like to take advantage of an upcoming sale. A restaurant could use it to promote new dishes on its menu or suggest dishes based on what you might like according to your previous orders. The chatbot could also be used for customer care purposes. For example, if a passenger has missed her flight due to bad traffic conditions, she could use the chatbot system to report this problem so that her complaint can be logged by the airline company. She can also use it for making changes to her reservation. An airline company could also use it to see if any passengers need help finding their way around the airport or need directions to their boarding gate.

    This combination of Twilio and Alegra allows companies to immediately respond to customer requests via their own chatbot while simultaneously responding via live chat support staff working for companies offering customer service via Alegra. Both conversations would be happening on the same platform so that companies can maintain communication with their customers even if some communication needs are beyond the capabilities of their own chatbot software. This integration of Twilio and Alegra would enable companies to keep their costs down because instead of having multiple human support staff working 24/7, one human support staff who works during business hours will suffice because he or she will be able to remotely supervise other staff who may be working in different time zones around the world thanks to remote assistance software such as GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar. Therefore, human support staff may still be needed in order to handle such requests if they arise however this should only happen occasionally according to our research findings described later in this report because automated systems such as chatbot software can respve a large majority of problems that occur frequently during customer service interactions such as providing basic information about products or services or providing guidance on how to spve simple problems that cannot be spved by humans alone (e.g., password recovery. In addition, automated systems such as chatbot software can also help reduce costs associated with providing customer service compared with humans because it can work 24/7 without having rest breaks or needing hpiday time off from work unlike human employees who require rest breaks and time away from work from time-to-time according to research findings described later in this report. In addition, automated systems such as chatbot software do not get distracted whereas humans may easily get distracted by things such as music being played in the office or other human employees talking at their desks next door or just plain boredom which could affect their productivity levels overall.
