Integration of Trello and Xzazu

Trello?

Trello is an effective and efficient project management top for individuals or teams. With Trello, users can create boards for different projects, add lists of tasks within each board, and give each task a description, due date, and status, in addition to adding comments and attachments. Trello also allows users to assign tasks to other team members who can then cplaborate together to complete the project. For example, if I was creating a board for a new blog post about Xzazu, I would create a board named “Blog Post” and then within that board, I would select three lists with titles such as. “Bibliography”, “Ideas”, and “Research”. I would choose one card from each list and add a description of what I am writing about, the due date of each card, and an estimated completion date. In addition to being able to add comments and attachments on cards, Trello also allows users to add pictures or files from their computer or from the internet without taking up too much space. One of the most appealing features of Trello is that it is completely free, so you do not have to worry about paying any money for this organizational top.

Xzazu?

Xzazu is a browser extension that integrates with Trello to allow teams to work more effectively. Essentially, this app combines Trello into your browser so that you have all the information about your project right in front of you without having to open another tab or window. Xzazu also displays the Xzazu score for each card and numbers the cards by priority so that your project plan does not get too cluttered or confusing. This integration also allows users to stay organized while they are online rather than having to switch back and forth between tabs which can get tedious. The main drawback of Xzazu is that it is only available for Chrome browsers which limits its user base. However, it can be installed on your phone through the Google Play Store which makes it easy to access your project information on the go.

How are Trello and Xzazu integrated?

To see how Trello and Xzazu are integrated, we first need to know how to use Xzazu independently and then see how it works with Trello. In order to use Xzazu independently, you need to go to the Xzazu website and click on “Get the Chrome Extension”. This will take you to the Chrome Web Store where you can download the extension onto your browser. Once it has downloaded onto your browser, you need to open up your Trello account and open the board you want to use. When you click on a card in Trello, Xzazu will automatically open with the name of the card in its search bar. This saves time because you do not have to search for the card again if you want to check its status or comments. In addition to automatically opening when a card is clicked in Trello, Xzazu also allows users to customize settings so that they can enter a specific keyword in order to open up Xzazu rather than having it automatically display whenever someone clicks on a card in Trello. When using Xzazu, you still need to update the status of your cards manually which can take some time. However, Xzazu does give users the option of copying any text of the card into a small panel at the bottom of the screen which allows them to paste it into Trello with one click rather than having to copy and paste every time they update a card’s status. This eliminates the hassle of going into Trello every time you want to update the status of one of your cards because you can easily copy and paste a status from Xzazu instead.

Benefits of Integration of Trello and Xzazu

As we have seen above, there are numerous benefits of integrating Trello into our browsers. These benefits include saving time since we no longer have to search for specific cards on Trello when we need them; saving time since we do not have to type in a specific keyword in order for Xzazu to automatically open; and saving time since we do not have to copy and paste text from Xzazu every time we update a card’s status on Trello. These benefits allow us to be more productive while working on our projects because we do not spend as much time locating information or copying and pasting text. If we were using Trello without Xzazu, we would have to constantly switch between tabs on our browsers which would cause us to lose track of what we were doing or where we were at in our project. By integrating these two programs together, we are able to work more efficiently because all we have to do is click on cards in our boards and our information is right there at our fingertips without having to search for it or copy and paste it every time we want to update a certain aspect of our project plan.

As stated above, integrating Trello into our browsers allows us to save time while we are completing our projects because we do not have to switch tabs as often as before. Because of this integration, we are more productive than we would be if we had separate programs for both our project plans and our communication purposes because everything is easily accessible without having to switch back and forth between tabs.
