Trello is a web-based project management application that allows users to create boards to manage tasks and projects. It is not meant for individuals, but groups of people working together on a project. In fact, the developers even recommend to use it with at least three people in the team. It includes boards, lists, cards and checklists. The users can share their Trello boards with anyone they want, and their co-workers can add new cards, move them around and leave comments. This way, every member of the team can be updated on what’s going on.
Google Photos is a free online storage spution from Google. It offers 15GB of free storage, which should be sufficient for most users. The users can upload all their photos and videos and get them automatically organized by Google’s algorithms. Google Photos also offer some additional features like backup, sharing, auto-organizing, unlimited storage for original quality photos or videos and more.
The integration of these two services would allow the users to organize their photos in Trello boards and use them as a source of information for their projects. For example, let’s imagine there is a marketing company called “Marketing Magician” that creates a project to promote their new product. First, they create a board in Trello named “New Product Marketing”. Then they create some lists inside that board. “Team Members”, “Products”, “Current Campaigns” and “Ideas”. They add cplaborators to the board they created and invite them to participate in the project. After that, they start adding cards for each aspect of the project. “Team Members”, “Products”, “Current Campaigns” and “Ideas”. On each card, they write down the name of the person responsible for this aspect of the project (the team member), a short description of that aspect (Product Name. and a list of all ideas related to this aspect (Ideas. At any time, one of the members from the team can open the board and see what needs to be done regarding the promotion of the new product in Trello. They can also leave comments on the cards if there is something important they want to remember or discuss with other members of the team.
– Flexibility. Since this spution uses both platforms separately, it gives users a lot of flexibility regarding how they use it. For example, they could use only one platform instead of both if that suits them better. Also, they could add more platforms to this system if it works for them (for example if there are other apps they use for organizing their images.
– Saving Time. Using both platforms together saves a lot of time because it allows users to organize everything in one place instead of using multiple apps for different aspects of their project management (such as Trello for organizing their cards and Google Photos for organizing their images. It also reduces confusion because all cards in the project are ordered by date and time when you upload your images in Google Photos.
– Consistency. With this system, all the cards are organized in one place so there is no inconsistency in organization between cards in Trello and images in Google Photos. For example, if a user adds an image to Google Photos and then adds a card about that image to Trello later on, they will always be in sync with each other because both are automatically sorted by date and time when they were uploaded in Google Photos. If someone else from another department joined the project after this user has uploaded an image, that person won’t have to go through all previous cards manually to find out what this image is about or who added it first. They can just look at the card where it is mentioned to know what it is about and who added it first. They won’t need to wonder whether this user means that image or another one because they will be linked by date and time when they were uploaded in Google Photos automatically.
