Todoist is an application that creates to-do lists for users and helps them manage their tasks. It is believed to be a good top that helps individuals manage their time effectively. Unlike other similar applications, Todoist has a user-friendly interface that is easy to use by the users.

OneNote?

OneNote is a note-taking application by Microsoft. It is a highly flexible application that can be used for various purposes. It allows users to keep all notes organized and can be accessed from any device. In short, it lets you take notes and organize them in an easy manner.

Integration of Todoist and OneNote

OneNote has a feature called “Saved to OneNote” where users can save any web page or any document to OneNote. They can add annotations to the saved files as well. This feature makes it possible for Todoist users to save their tasks into OneNote. The saved tasks are available for editing and even have a priority level assigned to them. To make sure that the integration of these two applications works smoothly, both Todoist and OneNote need to be up to date. Also, the saved task should be stored in a specific notebook of OneNote. Step 1. First, open the Todoist app on your computer and create a task with the required details such as title, description, etc. You can even assign this task with a priority level. Next, open OneNote on your computer as well. Then you need to open your desired notebook.

Step 2. Now right click on the notebook page and select “Insert” from the drop down menu. A window will now appear which will ask you to choose between different options. Click on “Saved to OneNote” option and a new window will appear asking you to enter the URL of the task created in Todoist. Type it in the box provided and click on “Insert Link” button. This will save the URL of your task into OneNote. You will see that there is a small square icon next to the inserted link. Double-clicking on this icon will open it in a separate window.

Step 3. The inserted link will look like this – https://todoist.com/api/v7/sync/get_project_by_id/<id>/items/<item_id> – <item_id> being the unique ID of your task in Todoist and <id> being the ID of your project in Todoist. After saving this link in OneNote, you can edit it if you want and delete it anytime you like. Once you are done with editing, you can sync your tasks by clicking on the circular arrow symbp next to your task link. This will sync the tasks between Todoist and OneNote. If you have multiple projects in Todoist then you can sync all of them at once using the “Sync All Projects” option instead of syncing every project separately.
