Thinkific is an online learning platform from the creator of Teachable. Thinkific claims to be a “do-it-yourself” video platform for creating, hosting and selling online courses. Thinkific also claims to be a marketing platform that allows you to build a list of subscribers, build your brand and promote your courses. Thinkific has a beautiful user interface, making it easy for users to update their account settings, add courses and update course information.
Tookan is a web application developed by Joseph Perla to help users create and maintain a course directory. Tookan is a free service provided by Tookan Global, Inc. Tookan is a one-stop shop for all course related needs. You can easily import or export your courses from or to Tookan, allowing integration between Thinkific and Tookan. You can use Tookan to manage your course content and import it to your Thinkific account.

Provides a one-click button on course pages so users can import their content directly into their Thinkific courses. This eliminates unnecessary steps in the process of importing content from another platform to Thinkific. Once you add the one-click button to your course page, users will be able to import your course directly into their Thinkific accounts in just one click.

As mentioned above, it is very easy to import your content from another platform into your Thinkific account using the one-click button. The same applies when you want to export your content from your Thinkific account and import it into your Tookan account.
You can sync data from one source (Thinkific. to another destination (Tookan. This means that you can transfer your content from Thinkific to Tookan without any problems. Users will find this feature very useful especially when they do not want to lose their content in case they decide to leave Thinkific. Since they have the ability to sync their content with Tookan, they can easily move their content out of Thinkific if they decide to do so. Course pages are where all the content of the course resides, including lesson notes, handouts, videos, presentations etc. After you have created a course on Thinkific, you have the option of exporting it to Tookan. You can then create a new course on Tookan by importing the exported course from your Thinkific account. The newly created course will have all of the same components of the original course including lesson notes, handouts, videos etc. You can also sync your entire original course with Tookan or choose which components you would like to sync with your new course on Tookan. This allows you to keep all of your original content on both platforms without having duplicates of the same material on each platform.

When creating a new course on Thinkific, you are given the option of choosing whether or not you would like to include these components in your new course. videos, documents, images, PDFs and audio files. You may choose if you want these components in your new course or if you would like to import them in the future. This feature helps reduce the amount of time it takes to create a new course on Thinkific because you can import these components in the future when you are ready, instead of doing it right when you create your new course. By default, these components are not included in your new course on Thinkific but you have the option of including them when creating your new course if desired. By leaving them out when you create your new course, they are automatically imported into your course when you decide to include them later on.
