Thinkific?

Thinkific is a platform that helps people create and run their own online courses. It allows users to build an online community by creating a course, setting up pricing, and promoting it. Thinkific also creates an environment where users can make courses about anything they want. Students can enrpl in the course and pay for access to videos, audio, PDFs, and other media.

Thinkific has over 200 helpful videos on their site, like how to set up an account or how to create your first course. You can also watch several videos about using the software. They show you how to get started, how to add content, and more.

I will be using Thinkific to create my own course about blogging.

Basecamp Classic?

Basecamp Classic is a project management software that helps teams organize their projects. Like Thinkific, it also has a lot of helpful videos, but they are shorter and not as informative as Thinkific’s. I have used Basecamp Classic to manage my high schop newspaper’s social media account. I created a project called “Social Media” and added team members from my staff who would help me with it. Then I broke down the tasks each member had to do in order to complete social media tasks.

Integration of Thinkific and Basecamp Classic

Thinkific and Basecamp Classic work seamlessly together because they both use a similar method of organizing projects. The two can be integrated in a variety of ways. One way they can be integrated is by having a user sign up for a Basecamp Classic account with an email address that already has a Thinkific account. Then that user can join a Thinkific course through the Basecamp Classic account.

Another way they can be integrated is through email notifications between the two platforms. In Basecamp Classic, when someone joins a project, they receive an email notification. In Thinkific, when someone joins a course, they can get an email notification from Basecamp Classic that informs them that they will now be receiving emails from that course’s instructor. This will help users keep track of all of the emails they receive while enrpled in a class.

Benefits of Integration of Thinkific and Basecamp Classic

Integration of Thinkific and Basecamp Classic has many benefits. Students can easily see what is expected of them in each course they take and teachers can see what projects they need to assign next based on what coursework students have completed so far. Teachers can also see what students are struggling with and visit the student’s page on Thinkific to see what projects they need to give extra attention to and what projects they might need to reevaluate and adjust.

Thinkific and Basecamp Classic are both good platforms for creating and running online courses and managing projects, but they could work more seamlessly together if they were integrated into one platform. This improvement would benefit both students and teachers by giving the ability to see what each person needs to do next in order to complete their class or project by making it easier for users to stay organized and informed about what they need to do next.
