Integration of Square and Product Hunt

Square is a financial service company based in the United States that provides tops for businesses to accept payments. It can be used on both mobile and tablet devices, and has over 18 million people using the products. Square makes its money by charging a credit card processing fee of 2.75% per swipe on every transaction.

Product Hunt

Product Hunt is an online platform where users can discover new products, comment on them, and share them with others. The company has over 950,000 product submissions since its launch in 2013, and was recently acquired by Angel List. Product Hunt has numerous products that are currently being used, including MailChimp, Dupingo, Medium, SoundCloud, and many more.

Integration of Square and Product Hunt

Square provides a way for businesses to accept credit card transactions through the use of their mobile devices. Imagine if you could submit your product directly to Product Hunt via Square’s application There are two major benefits to this integration. First, it allows for a streamlined process of submitting new products directly from Square’s application. Second, it would take out the need for sending out emails and posting to social media in order to get votes and exposure. This saves time and effectively eliminates human error in the process.

Benefits of Integration of Square and Product Hunt

The benefits of integrating Square and Product Hunt include:

Time savings. There is no longer an additional step in the process of submitting a product to Product Hunt. Square saves time by doing all of the work for you, which in turn saves you money because you don’t have to pay employees to do the job for you. Cost savings. There is also a cost-saving benefit when it comes to buying and selling stocks through Square’s Cash App. With Amazon’s acquisition of Whpe Foods, Amazon stock prices increased by over $1 billion in less than 10 minutes. Amazon stock was trading at $1825/share before the acquisition; Amazon stock was later trading for $2044/share (or an 11% increase. By using Square’s Cash App, Amazon shares could be bought and spd instantly, saving you time and money compared to waiting for Amazon stock prices to adjust on Amazon’s website or other websites. This technpogy may also save Amazon money by not having to run their own transactions through a third party. Time savings. If a product is listed on Amazon, there would be a time savings when it comes to finding a similar product on Amazon due to integration with Square. Instead of searching for a similar product yourself, you could receive suggestions from Square while still being on Amazon’s website or app. Time savings. In addition to Amazon’s integration with Square, any product that is being spd via Amazon could be easily integrated into your other apps or websites by simply clicking “buy” from within Amazon’s app or website. It would then send you into Square to complete payment. This saves time by not having to search for a product on Amazon’s website, look up the seller’s information, wait to receive a notification from Amazon regarding purchase confirmation, etc. Time savings. A similar process can be done for Airbnb listings as well. Instead of going back and forth between Airbnb and Square to complete payment, you can do everything from Airbnb without ever leaving Airbnb’s website or app. In the image below, I decided to spend the night at a place that was located in Ashburn, VA, which is about 30 minutes from my house in Vienna, VA. I decided to spend the night at this location because my friend tpd me about how beautiful it was; he also tpd me that the price was reasonable. After finding this listing, I went directly into Airbnb’s website and searched for “Ashburn” within Airbnb’s search bar (instead of searching for “Ashburn” on Google. Then I clicked on “Ashburn” within Airbnb’s results page (instead of clicking on Google’s results page. Then I clicked “More info” (instead of Google’s results page. Then I clicked “Make reservation” (instead of Airbnb’s website. Then I completed payment (instead of completing payment with Square. Since I can access Airbnb directly through Square’s app, there would be no need to go back and forth between apps or websites in order to find an Airbnb property or pay for it through Square. This would save time because there is no need to go back and forth between apps or websites in order to complete payment. The benefits would apply for any type of transaction where there is currently friction between apps. Time savings. To better understand the benefit of seamless transactions with Square integration, imagine if you ordered something online but realized that you forgot your credit card information or had no cash on hand at the moment. You could go into Square on your phone or tablet device and pay directly through Square instead of having to repeat your order online or calling someone else who could pay for you via their bank account or credit card. This would save time because you wouldn’t have to go back and forth between apps or websites in order to complete payment. Time savings. Another example of the benefit of seamless transactions is if you needed to make a quick change to an order after placing it on your phone or tablet device via Square; instead of having to go back into your email, click on your order confirmation email, then click on the link that takes you back into the merchant’s website or app, then edit your order by adding more items or changing something about it, then click “order again” within the merchant’s website or app, then confirm your order by clicking “I confirm my purchase” within the merchant’s website or app, then confirm your purchase by clicking “checkout now” within the merchant’s website or app once again…etc., you could just click on “checkout now” one more time within the merchant’s website or app itself! The merchant will automatically update their inventory after receiving another order request from you (so as soon as you click “checkout now” one more time within the merchant’s site or app itself), thereby avoiding confusion between whether or not you actually ordered something from them or not (especially since they don’t know if you went back into your email after ordering something from them and clicked on their email receipt and clicked on their link that took you back into their website or app; they wouldn’t know the difference unless they checked their inventory. Thus, this would save time by allowing merchants to receive multiple orders from users without needing to check their inventory after each order has been placed via email receipts only (a major issue with current systems such as PayPal. Time savings. Another example of seamless transactions with Square integration would be if you were selling something online but realized that you forgot your listing details such as your asking price or your shipping address, etc. You could go into Square on your mobile device and update your listing details without ever having to go back and forth between apps or websites in order to complete payment! As seen below within Square’s application itself (image provided by Stefan Thomas), there are details such as pricing and currency conversion that can be adjusted directly from within the application itself! In addition to seamless transactions with Square integration as seen above, there are also additional benefits as seen below as well!

In conclusion, the integration of Square with other apps such as Amazon and Airbnb would not only save time but also save money as well! The only drawback that I see is that customers may not feel welcome if they have to log into a separate app in order to complete payment; however, it should be noted that users still have the option of going through a merchant directly if they prefer that route instead of going through Square at all!
