Square and Microsoft Teams integration has made payment processing and invoicing much more efficient. Before these two companies began working together, Square would send invoices via email or text message. This was a time consuming process because they had to convert the invoice into PDF format as well as attach the invoice to their email. It would not only be time consuming but also sometimes difficult for the customer to get the invoice in their preferred format. Now, Square customers can use Microsoft Teams to view and pay their invoices. They no longer have to worry about sending invoices back and forth through email or text message. The invoice will automatically show up directly on their dashboard. This is a huge advantage because the customer can see everything that needs to be paid without having to ask for it. If the customer wants to pay the invoice, they just click on it and enter all of their information on the next screen. The customer cannot make further changes after they have entered their information. But this is okay because the customer already knows how much they are paying before they enter their information. If a customer has any questions about their invoice, they can contact Square support directly through Microsoft Teams.
Furthermore, Square does not have to pay extra for the integration between their system and Microsoft Teams platform. Square and Microsoft have signed a mutual agreement that will allow Square to use some of Microsoft’s cloud services and vice versa. This means that Square does not have to build its own infrastructure or pay for its own servers for their integration with Microsoft Teams. It also means that Microsoft does not have to build out infrastructure for Square as well. It saves both companies money by using each other’s cloud services instead of building their own infrastructure.
There is a large advantage of integrating Square and Microsoft Teams because it creates efficiency within Square’s payment processing and invoicing system. The integration started out as a pilot program in late 2017 and became widely available to businesses in 2018. Square customers could send invoices through email or text message before this integration happened, but sending invoices through email or text message was very inefficient because it was time consuming. Also, customers sometimes had difficulty getting an invoice in their preferred format as well as formats such as PDFs were not supported by all email or text messaging systems. It was also difficult for customers to pay their invoices because they did not know how much they owed until they received the invoice via email or text message. These issues were respved when Square integrated with Microsoft Teams in 2018 because customers could now view all of their invoices at once on their Microsoft Teams dashboard, which is highly convenient for their business owners. It would be very difficult for businesses owners if they had to log into multiple accounts such as email or text messaging platforms just to see their invoices and try to pay them manually using those platforms as well. Enabling the integration between Square and Microsoft was a great choice because it saves time for both businesses owners and employees who process invoices as well as customers who want to pay their invoices with ease. Integration between Square and Microsoft saves both parties time and resources, which makes it very advantageous for both companies in the long run. Integration between these two companies makes it easier for businesses owners who want to make payments to employees from one single location rather than having multiple accounts open in order to do so.
