Integration of Square and Judge.me Product Reviews

Square is a mobile credit card payment processing company that was founded by Jack Dorsey in 2009. Square enables any person to accept credit cards by using a smartphone or tablet. The payment comes directly into the person’s bank account. The Square system eliminates the need for a merchant account, which are typically charged high fees and require costly equipment. Square charges a flat rate of 2.75% per swipe, plus a fixed fee of $0.15. For every transaction, Square takes a small portion of the purchase price as a fee to cover its costs and offer additional services.

Square offers several different products to help merchants accept payment from customers. Square Register is the app that allows sellers to process payments through their phones or iPads. It is free to use and does not require an on-site computer or point of sale (POS. system. The seller receives the full amount of the sale, minus the 2.75% fee, deposited directly into their bank account on the next business day. The seller can also automatically email receipts to the customer after each transaction.

In addition, Square offers the Square Stand, a cash register-sized device that connects to the seller’s iPad or iPhone via Bluetooth. It allows sellers to keep track of inventory with the iPad and connect it to other devices for more complex operations such as running multiple registers at once. With Square Stand, Square takes a 3% cut plus $0.15 per swipe. The seller receives the full amount of the sale minus the 2.75% fee deposited directly into their bank account on the next business day.

Square also offers Pay with Square, which allows customers to pay with their smartphone instead of a physical credit card. When a customer pays with Square, their name and email address is stored for future purchases or donations to charities. In addition, the customer receives a 10% discount in most cases. Pay with Square is available on both iOS and Android.
