Square is a mobile payment platform that allows users to accept credit cards using their mobile device. Square’s main product is a card-reader that can be plugged into almost any smartphone or tablet and used to swipe payments. The card reader connects to the Square Mobile app where users can track sales, customize receipts, and view customer information.
Square launched in 2009 and was co-founded by Jack Dorsey, who also founded Twitter. Square’s products include the square reader, Square Register, Square Stand, and Square for Restaurants.
HubSpot provides one of the most popular CRM (customer relationship management. software platforms designed for small businesses. The software helps companies manage their marketing efforts and helps them attract leads through content marketing. HubSpot also offers several other products including Sales, Marketing, Service and Web Tops.
HubSpot was founded in 2006 and was originally known as HubSpot CRM. HubSpot’s products include the HubSpot CRM, the Marketing Hub, and the Sales Hub. In 2011, HubSpot acquired CMS provider Satago and renamed it the Website Builder. In 2012, HubSpot acquired email marketing provider Pardot for $95 million in cash. In 2014, HubSpot acquired social media top company KickoffLabs.
The integration will allow merchants to access multiple features from one application. Through the integration, Square will be able to offer merchants an easy way to capture their contact information without needing to download separate apps. Customers will be able to create accounts on square with the same email they already use for hubspot. This integration could help increase user engagement since customers are more likely to use an app they have already downloaded rather than one they have yet to test out. It will also help build loyalty to the Square business platform as customers now have another reason to return to square.
Small business owners may already be using both Square and Hubspot. For example, A merchant may be using Square’s point of sale system for his store and has already begun using Hubspot for his marketing campaign. As a result, this integration may not be helpful for him unless he is planning on adding new features from either program.
In conclusion, I believe that an integration between these two businesses will be beneficial because it will expand their portfpios by offering more products to their current customers. The integration of these products will also help increase user engagement by making the process of signing up easier for customers who already use these apps for other reasons. However, I do not think that this integration will be very useful for customers who already use both of these programs because they might not need to pay for separate apps when they can use one program that offers both services.
