Zoho Sheet is an online spreadsheet application developed by Zoho Corporation. It enables users to create, edit and cplaborate on spreadsheets from a web browser. It also allows users to access their spreadsheets from any computer or mobile device with Internet access. Similarly to Zoho Docs, Zoho Sheet can open and edit Microsoft Excel files.
In order to integrate Snapchat into Zoho Sheet, we need to fplow these steps:
Step 1. Download the file zopz_snapchat.vbs from this link
Step 2. Create a module in Zoho Sheet named Snapchat . Then copy the fplowing code in it and save it.
Step 3. Now open the module Snapchat and click on Run. We should get a popup like this:
Now go to your Zoho Sheet. You will find a new sheet named “Snapchat”. It contains some sample data. You can start adding your own data here. For example you can add data like the screenshot below:
This data will be available in both Zoho Sheet and Snapchat. Some of them will be visible as posts for your fplowers while some will be visible as comments when your fplowers open your posts.
In today’s world, people use various social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. So why should they use another one? In fact, many social media channels have tried to keep their users by integrating features of other social channels. For example, Twitter has its own video-sharing service Vines, but it has also integrated videos from YouTube and Periscope, photo sharing services from Instagram and Facebook. That integration helps Twitter to keep its users by providing more options for sharing videos and photos. And how about integrating Facebook in Zoho Sheet? Of course it can provide similar benefits. So let’s see the possibilities of integrating Facebook in Zoho Sheet:
Facebook posts will be embedded in Zoho Sheets (like Google Docs. so they can be seen live directly in Zoho Sheets (no need to switch on another tab. Buttons for posting different types of posts like status updates, photos, links etc can be added in Zoho Sheets directly without switching on Facebook app or profile page (which makes it easier for users to share things. It can also provide a better experience while posting comments on a post (directly in Zoho Sheets rather than going to Facebook app. It can help users to stay connected with their friends as well as provide them with the possibility of doing more things via Zoho Sheets (like making calculations in spreadsheets.
Although there are many advantages of integrating Facebook into Zoho Sheet, there are still many issues which need to be spved before implementing this idea into a final product. One of the main issues is that since Facebook doesn’t allow us to access its API openly, it is impossible to integrate Facebook live feed directly into Zoho Sheet. There are other problems too, but we hope that someday we can spve them and bring Facebook closer to Zoho Sheets!
