Snapchat is an app for smartphones used for instant messaging, taking photos and recording videos. Users can send contents to their friends and friends can send contents back to them. The contents will be deleted automatically after a few seconds. Users can also use those contents as profile pictures or display pictures. Snapchat also provides some filters and editing tops for the photos that users have taken.
Snapchat was developed by Evan Spiegel and Bobby Murphy in 2011. The company was named Snap Inc. because of the photo-sharing function on Snapchat. From then on, the number of its users has been increasing rapidly. In the first quarter of 2017, it had 173 million daily active users and made a revenue of $230 million. It ranked third among the most popular social media apps in the United States, just behind Facebook and Instagram.
Gmail is a web-based email service. Users can log into Gmail through the Gmail website or using a mobile application from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The functions of Gmail are similar to those of other email services (e.g. Hotmail), but the interface of Gmail is a bit different from that of other email services. It makes it easier to read emails. When users login into Gmail, they will see a list of emails on the left side of the page, and they can click on each email to see its contents. They can also sort emails according to different types (e.g. unread, important, etc.. and view the emails in different categories, such as the most recent messages, important messages, etc.
Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1998. The company develops software systems for businesses and organizations. Other popular products developed by Google include Google Maps, Google Docs and Google Chrome, a Web browser. It was initially called BackRub until 2001 when it changed its name to Google. In 2017, Google’s services were used by over 1 billion unique monthly users.
In today’s society, people have many ways to communicate with each other. However, they don’t always have their smartphones or computers with them. They may only have their phones or tablets with them while they are on the go. Therefore, it is impractical to use any complicated applications to communicate with others when they are on the go all the time. They should use something that is easy to use and convenient so that they can communicate with others anytime anywhere regardless of the device they have with them at that moment.
One way that people can communicate with others anytime anywhere is through texting. People usually do not even need to open their laptops or turn on their smartphones in order to send texts to someone else because texting is a very simple thing almost everyone does on a daily basis. However, texts are not permanent; they only remain preserved for a short period of time before they are deleted automatically. If people want to save the texts sent by their friends or family members for a long period of time, they should take a screenshot of those texts and keep them in their albums or ask their friends or family members to save those texts in their own devices for them. However, sometimes it is inconvenient for people to take screenshots or ask their friends or family members to save texts for them because there may be times when they don’t have access to their own devices or cannot contact their friends or family members at certain moments; therefore, they lose the ability to save texts permanently for themselves.
Some people use social media apps such as Snapchat or WhatsApp to communicate with others instead of sending texts because those apps allow them to send pictures or video clips rather than just texts. However, if people want to save those pictures or video clips for themselves forever without having to screenshot them manually every time they receive them from their friends or family members, they will face another problem. both Snapchat and WhatsApp delete those pictures or video clips automatically after some short period of time that varies based on the settings chosen by each user, so if people miss receiving pictures or video clips from their friends or family members within that short period of time, they will lose them forever unless they find a way to screenshot them manually before their friends or family members send them to other platforms like Twitter, Facebook or Instagram where they will no longer be able to take screenshots of those pictures or video clips anymore once they have been shared publicly there.
This is where Gmail comes into play in terms of communication among people in today’s society. Gmail does not delete images automatically like Snapchat and WhatsApp do; it preserves them permanently so that people can always access those images whenever they need them no matter when and where they were created or sent because anyone with access to Gmail can always see those images in their Gmail accounts regardless of how long ago they were created or sent and whether they were sent directly to someone’s Gmail account or shared publicly on other platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram first before being sent to someone’s Gmail account afterwards. This makes people feel more secure about their communications with others because no matter what platform they choose to use when communicating with others (e.g. texting, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram), they can always refer back to those images that were sent through Gmail whenever they need them without worrying about whether those images are going to disappear from their devices one day without warning due to automatic deletion by the platform used to send them (e.g. Snapchat. This allows people to feel more confident about communicating with others through various means of communications other than text as well because no matter which platform they choose when communicating with each other, they can always refer back to images that were sent through Gmail if needed without worrying about whether those images will disappear from their devices one day without warning due to automatic deletion by the platform used to send them (e.g. Snapchat.
The integration of Snapchat and Gmail is beneficial for both brands because it allows people who rely heavily on either one brand’s products (e.g. on Snapchat or on Gmail. with another brand’s products (e.g. on Snapchat with Gmail. without having to sacrifice one product for another product that might not be as useful for them as the other product is (e.g. both Snapchat and Gmail are useful products for people who use them but if someone only uses Snapchat and not Gmail then integrating Snapchat with Gmail would make him/her lose his/her interest in Snapchat because he/she would still be able to utilize all Snapchat features using his/her Gmail account. Therefore, this integration could increase both brands’ sales by making people buy both products if neither one product alone is enough for them (e.g. if someone only uses Snapchat but not Gmail then he/she would still buy both products if he/she could integrate Snapchat with Gmail because he/she would not need to use two products if he/she could use one product through which he/she could utilize all features of both products; since he/she already uses Snapchat, he/she probably doesn’t need another product that allows him/her to send videos and photos quickly; therefore, he/she would rather buy a product through which he/she could send messages through text rather than through videos or photos. This also benefits both brands because it allows users who have been using only one brand’s product up until now (e.g. users who have been using only Snapchat up until now. try out another brand’s product for themselves as well (e.g. users who have been using only Snapchat up until now try out Gmail in addition to Snapchat. rather than forcing users who have been using only one brand’s product up until now (e.g. users who have been using only Snapchat up until now. try out another brand’s product for themselves as well (e.g. users who only use Snapchat up until now try out Gmail in addition to Snapchat. because this integration allows users who don’t know about either product yet (e.g. users who have never used either product until now. decide which product is better for him/her based on what his/her friends are doing (e.g. if his/her friends are using both products then he/she would probably try using both products as well; if his/her friends are using just one product then he/she would probably try using just that product. Therefore, this integration could increase both brands’ sales by allowing potential customers who currently do not know about either brand’s products yet decide which brand’s products best suit his needs after trying out both brands’ products himself rather than forcing potential customers who currently do not know about either brand’s products yet decide which brand’s
