Integration of SMTP by Connect and Zoho Sheet is very simple. If you are using SMTP by Connect services, then you don’t have to invest in any additional software or app for managing contacts. It has its own API (Application Programming Interface. which is used for integrating it with other services. Step 1. Create a free account on Zoho Sheet. Sign up with an email ID and password.

Step 2. After signing up, select ‘Add new’ option in order to create new spreadsheet.

Step 3. Name your spreadsheet whatever you like. Select ‘Next’ button to move ahead. Now you can create cpumns in the spreadsheet according to your needs

Step 4. After creating cpumns, click on ‘Settings’ tab at the top. This tab allows you to specify the sheets that will be imported into the template. As soon as you click on the ‘Settings’ tab, you will see three options- ‘Import Contacts’, ‘Import Contacts with Email ID’ and ‘Export Contacts’. Here you have to select ‘Import Contacts’ option. Once you select this option, you will see two more options- import all contacts or import only selected contacts. Then, click on ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the page. This would save the settings for importing contacts into the spreadsheet.

Step 5. To start importing contacts into your Zoho Sheet account, you have to use SMTP by Connect API or import data directly into Zoho Sheet account using your existing email ID and password. For direct integration using SMTP by Connect API, copy paste below given URL in your browser address bar https://api.smtpbyconnect.com/?key=CLIENT_KEY&template=TEMPLATE&method=POST&contacts=CONTACTS&username=EMAIL&password=PASSWORD&resourceId=RESOURCE_ID&recordsPerRequest=RECORDS

You can find out your API key from your dashboard in SMTP by Connect account. Before copying the above mentioned URL into your browser, replace ‘ CLIENT_KEY ’ with your own API key and replace ‘ RESOURCE_ID’ with your own resource ID which can be found in your Zoho Sheet account. Replace ‘ CONTACTS/EMAIL/PASSWORD/USERNAME/RESOURCE_ID’ with appropriate values according to your needs and preferences. You can find out these values from your SMTP by Connect account’s settings page. Copy and paste above URL in your browser address bar and hit enter button after replacing all values with appropriate values. It will start importing contacts into your spreadsheet using integration between SMTP by Connect and Zoho Sheet.
