I am writing this to inform you on how Slack and Twitch can be integrated.
Slack is a messaging platform that focuses on teams. It is used for communication between team members. It is also used by companies to connect co-workers. It was released in 2013. The founder, Stewart Butterfield, created it after the failure of his previous company, Glitch. Slack hopes to create an environment for businesses so they can communicate more efficiently. They have accomplished this by creating integrations with other applications.
Twitch is a live streaming platform that focuses on video gaming. It allows users to watch gamers play or streamers stream games. It was founded by Justin Kan and Emmett Shear in June of 2011. There are currently over 15 million daily active users of Twitch. These users are primarily male with 90% being over the age of 18. Users are able to broadcast themselves playing video games to the world or talk about issues facing them as gamers. Around 50% of Twitch users are millennials. Streamers are able to make money through subscriptions, channel memberships, sponsorships, donations, tipping, and channel advertisements. Twitch also has a sub-site called Twitch Creative which has all the same features as Twitch but instead focuses on art and crafts.
Slack and Twitch are two very popular platforms, but they are different. Slack is used mainly for work while Twitch is used for entertainment. With that being said, there are many benefits to integrating the two platforms together. Some of these benefits include access to both platforms from one account, chat integration, multi-user chat rooms, and much more. This will allow people to stream games during breaks at work so they don’t have to take time off of work to do it. Another benefit would be having people donate money to streamers who are live streaming at work so they don’t have to use their own money. Another benefit could be having channels that feature people working at their jobs while still being able to stream games during breaks. There are many benefits that come with integrating Slack and Twitch together.
The process to integrate Slack and Twitch may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
