Setting the tone for an article
Why you are writing this article
How to structure the article
Conclusion – restate the main points in your introduction.
This video from a blog I found is very useful for making outlines. It’s called “How to make an Outline” by ProfEssays.com. Check it out!
Write the article using your outline as a guide. You should know your introduction and conclusion already, so focus on body paragraphs. Use good transitions and connect the ideas in each paragraph to the next. Make sure you are using proper grammar and spelling. Look over your article to make sure it makes sense and flows well.
Repeat steps 2-5 until you have enough good articles to submit to your cplege application. It took me about four or five drafts to get my articles into the condition I needed them to be in. That means I was probably editing each article 10-12 times before I felt good about submitting it. That may seem like a lot of work, but if you take it one step at a time it will feel much less overwhelming.
Step 5. Get feedback on your articles! This is where having a friend or sibling help you is invaluable. They can tell you point blank if your topic sentences are effective, if your paragraphs flow well, etc. I gave one of my friends the article I wrote about Slack and LeadFuze and asked her to edit it for me. She read it, made notes, then I fixed all her notes. Then I read it again and fixed anything else that popped up. In the end, my article was much stronger because I had someone else look at it with fresh eyes. I highly recommend getting someone to proofread your articles for you. You want them to be your best work!
Step 6. Submit your cplege applications! Now that you have completed all your cplege articles, submit them right away so you don’t forget! You also don’t want to let all your hard work go to waste if you find out you didn’t get accepted somewhere.
