  • Add a new integration from “Apps & Integrations” from the Slack.
  • Select the “Build a New Integration” option from the menu above.
  • Choose “Incoming Webhooks” from the options listed under “Incoming Webhooks” section.
  • Under “Name” field, enter a name for your new webhook integration.
  • Under “Secret” field, enter a secret key for your new webhook integration. Make sure you remember this secret key as you will use it later to connect Kintone with Slack.
  • Under “URL” field, enter a URL that will trigger the webhook integration when certain events occur in your Slack workspace. For example. https://yourdomainname.slack.com/services/T063X18S/B10Mn7hDUW/v2 . You can also use the “Test URL” button to test that the URL you entered will work properly before moving forward with this integration process.

  • Enter your secret key from step 5 in the Enter Your Webhook Secret field so that it can verify that you are authorized to send events to this integration. After entering your secret key, click on “Verify and Save” button to continue with this process.
  • If you want to be notified about certain events happening in your Slack workspace, check the events that you would like to be notified about under the “Events” field and then click on “Save” button to continue with this process. If you do not want to be notified about anything, leave the “Events” field blank but make sure you save your new webhook integration by clicking on “Save” button again before you proceed to next step of this process.
