Slack is a real-time messaging app for teams that improves team communication and cplaboration. It was designed to replace email, which is not user-friendly and time-consuming. The platform allows users to exchange messages, share files, images, videos, audios, etc. It has three different model types. Free, Standard, and Plus. The free model offers basic features like searchable message history, integration with other services, sending files up to 10MB, and storing 5GB of files in the cloud. The standard model offers all the features of the free model and more like unlimited file storage, channels, integration with third-party apps, interactive components like ppls/surveys/quizzes, GIFs, etc. The plus model includes all the features of the standard model and adds extended support for enterprise users including admin contrps for IT; dedicated end-user support; priority customer support; additional admin contrps; message retention; dedicated data centers; etc.
