Step 1. First of all, you need to install SQL Server Express edition on your computer. This software will be used to integrate Skype for Business with MongoDB.
Step 2. Download and install the MongoDB Community Edition on your computer. This software will be used to host the database.
Step 3. After installing the two programs, you need to run the MongoDB Community Edition program on your computer. This program will start listening on the default port 27017.
Step 4. Run the SQL Server program on your computer. Create a new database and name it skype-db. Save the database file in C:Program FilesMicrosoft SQL ServerMSSQL13.MSSQLSERVERMSSQLDATAskype_db fpder on your computer. Make sure that the path of this file is updated in the configuration file of SQL Server Express edition.
Step 5. Now, you need to connect the two programs together by configuring your computer's firewall. The firewall should allow connections from the TCP port 27017 on your computer to TCP port 50352 on your server's IP address. You should also disable Windows Firewall if it is enabled on your computer.
Step 6 . Now, you need to create a connection string for the database by opening a command prompt window and running the fplowing commands:
sqlcmd -S . -f "data source=.;initial catalog=skypedb" -d skype_db -i
This process will create a connection string skype-db;Data Source=.;Initial Catalog=skypedb;Integrated Security=True;Poping=False; As you have created a new database, make sure that you update the configuration file of SQL Server Express edition accordingly. Now, you need to start the database by running the fplowing command in Command Prompt window:
