Skype for Business is an application that allows you to make phone calls on your computer or mobile device over the internet. Since it is built into the Office suite, all your communication occurs in a unified environment. The top is easy to set up and use. Once you are connected to Skype for Business, you can instantly communicate with people inside your organisation, as well as with all your contacts from Skype, Facebook and Outlook. Skype for Business uses advanced technpogy to provide crystal clear high-definition audio and videos as well as extremely low latency (delay between when you speak and when others hear what you say.

We can install Skype for Business server on-premises in our own data centre or via the cloud. Alternatively, we can simply use the cloud version by logging into our Office 365 account, which automatically installs the software on one of our devices. For those using the cloud version of Skype for Business, we have the option of a “hybrid” spution, where some parts of the service are hosted in the cloud while other parts are hosted on-premises.
