Skype for Business?

Skype for Business, formerly Microsoft Lync, is a cloud-based conferencing and cplaboration platform available with Office 365 subscriptions. It utilizes a tiered approach to communication, ranging from instant messaging text-based chat, to voice calls, to video conferencing with screen sharing. Skype for Business can be used on PC’s, mobile devices, and Skype-certified video conferencing systems. SkyDrive Pro is a file storage service that integrates with Skype for Business to provide online file sharing between users in a team workspace.

Adobe Sign?

Adobe Sign is a web service that allows users to electronically sign documents or forms online. In order to use Adobe Sign, users must have a subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite. Through the integration of Adobe Sign with Skype for Business, users can sign documents electronically from any computer or mobile device with an internet connection.

Integration of Skype for Business and Adobe Sign

Users can integrate their accounts for Adobe Sign with their accounts for Skype for Business by fplowing the steps below:

  • Log in to your account on adobe.com.
  • From the Proof tab, click Sign Documents & Forms.
  • Click Set Up Skype for Business Integration.
  • On the first page of the wizard, enter your Skype for Business credentials and then click Authorize.
  • On the next page of the wizard, enter your Adobe Sign credentials and then click Authorize.
  • On the final page of the wizard, select the types of documents you would like to be able to sign within Skype for Business and then click Finish. You can choose to enable document signing by clicking Notify me about new signings (recommended. or by choosing Always allow signing by default (not recommended.
  • Once you return to the Proof tab, you will see that you are now able to sign documents within Skype for Business by clicking Sign Document in the upper right corner of your screen. You can also create tasks to assign signing tasks to other users using the Create Task button in the lower right corner of your screen. These tasks can be found in the Tasks menu within Skype for Business.
