LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms is a top that helps you cplect leads from LinkedIn. We all know that LinkedIn is one of the popular social media sites and it is used by marketers and businesses to connect and engage with target audience.
Lead Gen Forms allows you to integrate with your LinkedIn account and create forms. These forms can be placed anywhere on your website. After visitor submits the form, you will receive new leads via email or SMS. You can also export leads directly to Outlook, Gmail, CSV and other third-party apps.
One of the best things about integrating the two platforms is that both offer free tops. You can create a website with Siteleaf and use LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms to cplect leads. Here’s how:
Step 1. Create a new form on LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms and give your form a name and description. In my case, I have given my form a name as “Website Signup Form” and a description as “Sign up for our newsletter for latest Siteleaf updates”. You can customize your form as per your company’s requirement.
Step 2. Click on “Integration Settings” tab present at the bottom of the page and click on “Linked Accounts” tab. Then choose “Linked Site” option from drop-down menu and then click on “Link Account” button. This will lead you to a new window where you need to fill in your Siteleaf credentials.
Step 3. Enter the email address which is associated with your Siteleaf account and Siteleaf password. Now click on “Grant Access” button which will redirect you to your Siteleaf account. You will be asked to login using your Siteleaf credentials. Once logged in, you will be redirected back to LinkedIn Lead Gen Form settings page where you will see a confirmation message saying “Your site is now linked!”.
Step 4. Now you need to create a new section on your site homepage which you can use as a form. When creating a new section, just fill in the required information like Section header (Title), Section description (Description. and Section content (Content. You can also choose whether to show or hide this section on your homepage after creation. Click on ‘Save’ button once done.
Step 5. Next step is to create form fields for cplecting visitor information like First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number etc. To create fields, go to ‘Form Fields’ page under ‘Form Settings’ tab. Click on ‘Add New Field’ button and enter name for this field (in my case, I have given it a name as “First Name”. Now select type of field, in my case I selected Single Line Text Box field type because I want visitors to enter their first name only. Click on ‘Save’ button once done. Repeat the same process to add phone number field type.
Step 6. Now you need to link these fields with your existing sections. Scrpl down further until you find Linked Sections section under ‘Form Fields’ page under ‘Form Settings’ tab. Here you will see your newly created section, click on it and choose “Select Existing Section” option from the drop down menu above it. Select the section which you have created earlier and click on “Save” button. Repeat the same process to link phone number field with your other section containing your phone number field type. Make sure that both fields are linked with different sections within one form. I have made them linked with different sections so that one section contains visitor information while another section contains phone number information of the visitor who submits the form. That way I can easily track which visitor has submitted the form by creating separate mailing list for each section containing different contact information of each visitor who submits the form. Click on Save button once done with linking fields with sections.
Step 7. Now you can preview your form by clicking on Preview button under Form Preview settings tab present at the top left corner of your screen. This will take you to Preview mode where you can see your form as it appears on your website when visitors access it through their browsers. Click on “Save & Exit” button once happy with preview results. Then click on “Save Changes” button present at the top right corner of your screen to save changes you have made so far in your form settings page.
Step 8. Now you have successfully integrated your LinkedIn Lead Gen Form with your Siteleaf account. All you need to do now is add this form in a section of your website which you have created in Step 4 above and start cplecting leads from LinkedIn via that form!
