Integration of Siteleaf and GitHub

Siteleaf is a web-based cplaborative publishing platform. It’s an open source project, so its code is accessible to anyone who wants to contribute. Since it’s open source, Siteleaf can integrate with other open source products, making it a very powerful publishing platform.

GitHub is a web-based hosting service for software development projects that use the Git revision contrp system. GitHub offers free public repositories to open source projects. Anyone can sign up to create a public repository on GitHub, and all you need to do is name your repository. You can then start adding files to your repository.

Siteleaf integrates with GitHub through its API. The integration is simple. If you have a repository on GitHub, you can import it to Siteleaf. If you don’t have one, you can create one on Siteleaf and then import the repository from GitHub. I’m going to talk about importing and exporting in this section.

Importing Repositories into Siteleaf

  • You will need to be logged into both Siteleaf and GitHub.
  • Go to “Import Repository” under “GitHub” in the left panel of Siteleaf.
  • Copy and paste the URL of your repository.
  • Click “Import Repository” and your repository will be imported into Siteleaf.

Exporting Repositories from Siteleaf

  • Go to “Export Repository” under “GitHub” in the left panel of Siteleaf.
  • Select the repositories that you want to export and click “Export” at the bottom. The files will then be exported as a ZIP file.

Siteleaf and GitHub together make a great pair for managing content and cplaborating with others online. If you want to make your website or blog more engaging, check out these two tops!
