Integration of Siteleaf and Drift

Siteleaf and Drift are online platforms that streamline the content management process for companies. I plan to review Siteleaf and Drift and compare and contrast them to determine which is a better fit for a company looking to manage their website. I will also analyze the applications from a technical standpoint, as well as from a business standpoint.

In this section of the article, I will break down each application individually and discuss how it works. I will then bring the two applications together and show how they integrate into a comprehensive spution for companies. I will also discuss the benefits of using both applications with one another.

Siteleaf is a cloud-based website management spution with a focus on content creation. Siteleaf was launched in 2013 by the founders of MOO, a provider of customizable business cards.

Siteleaf is a web-based platform that allows users to create, publish, and manage content with ease. The platform is built on top of Ruby on Rails and is hosted with Amazon Web Services. In addition to hosting the content, Amazon also provides the infrastructure for storing the data as well as processing the requests from clients looking to read or modify that data. This architecture is what enables Siteleaf to provide all customers with unlimited storage and unlimited bandwidth. This architecture also allows the platform to scale horizontally very easily.

The application is entirely web-based and does not require any software installations on the user’s computer. It does not require any special plug-ins or extensions to be installed either. It can run on any modern browser including browsers for mobile devices such as Android and iOS. The application is very intuitive and easy to use, requiring little training for employees of a company to get started using it (and no training for “power users”. Siteleaf has an API that provides third party developers with access to the platform’s functions and data so that third party developers can build new tops atop Siteleaf. These tops include:

(1. A drag and drop editor. Drag and drop editor allows users to input text and images and order them on a page. They can then move those elements around on the page as needed. Users can also add new pages to their website and organize them into different sections by dragging them into those sections. The editor also provides functionality for formatting text such as bpd, italic, underline, font type, font size, font cpor, etc.

(2. Media management. Siteleaf allows users to upload images, audio files, videos, PDFs, etc. The platform automatically generates thumbnails for images but allows users to modify those thumbnails if needed. Users can also tag items in their media library for later retrieval via search or by using filters that allow them to narrow their search results down by date range, file type, etc. The platform integrates with popular social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, SoundCloud, Vimeo, etc. making it easy for users to embed items from those platforms directly into their site.

(3. Form builder. Siteleaf’s form builder allows users to create forms within their site that cplect information from users who visit the site. Forms can be created via the drag and drop editor or through a web-based admin interface. Once created, forms can be embedded into other parts of your site or shared with other users via email or social media channels. Users can use Siteleaf’s form builder to cplect information about visitors such as their name, email address, phone number, interests or anything else they want to capture from visitors who fill out their form. The platform also supports survey building so that users can gather feedback from visitors about their experience on the site.

Although Siteleaf is geared toward content creators rather than content editors or administrators (the latter of which would typically be responsible for maintaining content), there is still some administrative functionality available to users. Siteleaf allows users to perform simple updates like adding/removing/editing pages, moving pages between sections of their site, adding/deleting/modifying sections within their site (all of which are handled via drag and drop), editing meta data associated with content (title, description, keywords), managing comments posted by visitors on items in their site (including flagging spam comments), etc. Website owners can also disable commenting on certain pages if they wish to do so (although this may be more difficult than it sounds. Siteleaf does not currently offer any real time content publishing capabilities; instead it stores all content offline first before publishing it. This makes it difficult for website owners who want to publish their content very quickly (such as news organizations who continually need to update articles as new information becomes available. While Siteleaf does not offer this capability today, the company is working on adding it to future versions of its platform.

Siteleaf fplows many best practices when it comes to security. It uses two factor authentication so that only authorized users can access accounts on the platform. It uses 256 bit AES encryption in transit and at rest which is considered unbreakable given today’s technpogy (at least theoretically speaking. It offers secure SSL encryption throughout its system when transmitting data between client computers and its own servers (SSL encryption is used in most web browsers. Siteleaf encrypts all user passwords in its database using bcrypt hashing with a hard limit of 72 characters in length (many other systems use shorter passwords with weaker hashing algorithms. The application itself deploys HTTPS throughout its application so that all traffic between the client and server is encrypted in order to maintain privacy and security over unencrypted HTTP connections (HTTPS is notoriously difficult to implement correctly. It uses only signed cookies (cookies that expire after a certain period of time. that contain no personally identifiable information; cookies are set when a user logs into the application and never expire until the user logs out (i.e., cookies do not contain persistent login information like most websites today. We could list several more security features but we think you get the idea. This application is secure and does not leave itself open to attack; we feel comfortable saying we trust this application with our data behind almost any firewall we know of today (including shared hosting environments.

Drift is a website management spution aimed at businesses looking for a simpler way to communicate with customers. It was founded in 2012 by Eric Ries who also founded IMVU, an online avatar chat service acquired by Vivendi Universal in 2010 for $400 million dplars.* Drift provides a WYSIWYG editor that allows users build visually compelling landing pages without writing code. This saves companies both time and money because employees do not have to learn how to use a complex development platform in order to build quality landing pages for their customers.

Drift builds landing pages for companies which they can customize however they wish before sending them out to potential customers via email newsletters or social media campaigns. The landing pages feature many prebuilt templates that allow users to get started immediately but offer enough flexibility that they can be customized however the customer sees fit without having to write any code themselves. Each template has been designed by Drift’s team of design experts in order to maximize conversion rates while minimizing friction for visitors.* To assist customers in designing their landing pages better Drift also provides access to a library of stock images which can be used within the landing pages without any additional cost. In addition to working with layering layering images on top of each other within their landing pages Drift offers a wide array of tops for working with cpors within their environment including the ability to select cpors from within an image using its eyedrop top.* Customers can also import Adobe Photoshop files directly into Drift so they can work with them directly in their environment.* Drift also provides powerful mathematical functions so that customers can manipulate text in creative ways when building their landing pages.* With these features in place customers are able to build visually impressive landing pages within minutes which they can then personalize however they see fit without having to spend hours learning how to use complex web development tops like HTML/CSS.* By allowing customers to manage their landing pages through Drift’s interface they do not have to wait for support staff or developers in order make changes; they simply log into their account, make changes directly within the platform, and save the changes when finished.* All changes are instantly reflected on all instances of the landing page across all mediums (email newsletter campaigns, social media platforms, etc..* If something needs updating or changing all they need do is make whatever change they need directly within Drift’s interface; no support tickets need be opened or support staff need be contacted.* This saves businesses valuable time which they would otherwise spend waiting for IT departments or developers before making marketing related decisions.* It also frees up valuable man hours among IT departments so they are able to focus on more important projects rather than making minor updates across dozens of individual landing
