Integration of Shopify and Zoho Expense

Shopify?

Shopify is a cloud-based ecommerce platform that enables entrepreneurs and businesses to set up an online store.

Zoho Expense?

Zoho Expense (formerly known as ZenCash. is an online expense management software. By integrating Shopify and Zoho Expense, entrepreneurs will be able to spend less time on accounting and more time on their business.

Integration of Shopify and Zoho Expense

Through Shopify’s API (Application Program Interface), customers can seamlessly integrate Paypal, Stripe, Authorize.net, and Braintree into their Shopify store. The integration also allows for recurring billing, which means that customers can choose to pay monthly or yearly depending on their billing cycle. However, there are some limitations for recurring billing, such as the amounts cannot be changed.

On the other hand, through Zoho Expense’s API, customers can import transactions from Shopify, including sales, refunds, and expenses. Customers do not have to manually enter transactions for their Shopify store into Zoho Expense. Instead, they can simply choose to automatically export data to Zoho Expense once a day at midnight. Additionally, if customers use Shopify Payments to process payments on their store, then they will not need to enter any merchant information into Zoho Expense. This makes it easier for customers to track all of their expenses in one place.

Because Shopify has a robust API, third party apps can easily integrate with Shopify. For example, an app called Shopify Navigation allows customers to create stylish navigation menus using WooCommerce templates. Additionally, if customers need more advanced features, they can purchase apps from the App Store.

Benefits of Integration of Shopify and Zoho Expense

Integrating Shopify and Zoho Expense allows entrepreneurs to manage their finances efficiently. Shopify’s recurring billing feature means that customers do not have to worry about managing bills each month or year for their business. Additionally, because Zoho Expense imports data directly from Shopify, customers do not have to manually enter data into Zoho Expense after making purchases on their store. If customers use Shopify Payments to process payments on their store, then they only have to enter the merchant information once into Zoho Expense. This saves them time when entering expenses later on. Additionally, because both products are cloud-based, there are no set-up costs or long-term contracts associated with either product. Finally, because both products are cloud-based, customers do not have to maintain servers to host their ecommerce store or expense management software. This saves them time and money in the long run.
