Shopify has integrated with Freshdesk to offer eCommerce merchants end-to-end support with live chat. Shopify has integrated Freshdesk with its own product for the very first time. According to Rohit Sharma, the vice president of engineering at Shopify, the integration between the two products will help retailers access Freshdesk’s agent call center to respve issues with customers quickly. Customers will be able to reach out to Shopify directly through Freshdesk by using a live chat feature. Whenever a customer is not able to respve any issue on their own using Shopify’s self-service tops, they can connect with a Live Agent and get fast respution of their issues.
Freshdesk has been integrated with several other apps like Magento, Bigcommerce, WooCommerce, NetSuite, Vpusion and Spree Commerce in the past. These integrations were mostly intended to provide support for the merchants who used those platforms for their stores.
