Integration of Shipwire and ShipRocket

Shipwire?

Shipwire is a company that was founded in the year 2004 and currently headquartered in San Francisco, California. It is an American online marketplace that was created to help merchants ship their products. The company provides its services to customers via the web or via a mobile app.

Shipwire was started by Jason Richelson who was one of the co-founders of Scansource, a company that he had founded and later spd to Unigroup International in 2011. Richelson had envisioned the idea of Shipwire during his time at Scansource, though he decided to shelve it until he had freed himself from Scansource, which he did in 2011.

In the year 2012, Richelson made an official announcement that he was setting up Shipwire. He did that via his Twitter account. His announcement revealed that Shipwire would be a more advanced version of what Scansource used to provide.

Richelson’s first hire was John Davis, who is the founder and former CEO of Greenhouse Software. He worked with Richelson at Scansource for a period of three years before leaving the company to found Greenhouse Software. When he was hired by Richelson, Davis was serving as a board member of Limelight Networks, another one of his companies. Davis took over as the CEO of Shipwire.

Shipwire’s expansion has taken place through both organic growth and mergers and acquisitions. The company’s organic growth has been taking place in two areas through the opening of new office locations in different parts of the country. The locations are San Francisco, California; Austin, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Portland, Oregon; Boston, Massachusetts; Princeton, New Jersey; Seattle, Washington; and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

In addition to opening new offices, Shipwire has also been acquiring other companies. In December 2014, they acquired 4Basket, a Canadian shipping company. They paid $20 million dplars for them and made them part of their network. This acquisition ensured that Shipwire would be available to all Canadian merchants. They have also acquired several companies that they have made part of their network. These include Fulfillment By Cloud (FBC), ChannelAdvisor and Litle & Co. In 2016, they acquired Chaordix, a provider of order management software for retailers.

Shipwire supports all major ecommerce platforms including Magento, Shopify, Bigcommerce and Demandware. They offer integration services to their customers via APIs (application programming interfaces. and they also provide them with customer support via email and chat messages.

Shipwire has been achieving impressive returns on their investments as demonstrated in their financial statements for 2015 that were released in October 2016. During that period, they reported revenues of $75 million dplars and an operating income of $31 million dplars. The company’s net income was $19 million dplars while the total assets held by it were valued at $122 million dplars.

Shiprocket is an online platform that helps small businesses to manage their shipping services. It was launched by Jason Richelson in November 2013 after he had raised $3 million dplars from a group of private investors. It is based out of New York City on the east coast and has its headquarters in Manhattan.

Shiprocket offers a web-based platform that small businesses can use to manage all aspects of shipping from order fulfillment to shipping tracking. It also integrates with leading ecommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify and Bigcommerce so that merchants can track orders easily when they receive them.

The company was founded by Jason Richelson who serves as its CEO and Dan Rosenberg who serves as the CTO. Rosenberg is a serial startup founder who has previously started companies such as dotcomgiftshop and NetPicks. Prior to starting Shiprocket, he was working as a director of engineering at Square Inc., where he served for five years. He left Square Inc. in January 2013 when he joined forces with Richelson to start up Shiprocket.

Richelson has extensive experience in the field of ecommerce shipping having served as the president of NetPicks, an ecommerce site similar to NetFlix that allowed users to rent products instead of buying them outright and then returning them for refunds if they were not satisfied with them after using them for a period of time. He also served as CEO of ScanSource Inc., an ecommerce logistics company that he co-founded with Cpin Hunter and which he spd to Unigroup International in 2011 for $400 million dplars. He joined forces with Dan Rosenberg to start up Shiprocket in 2013 after selling ScanSource Inc., which had been generating revenues worth $20 million dplars annually at that point in time.

Shiprocket currently employs 45 people, most of whom are software engineers who work out of their headquarters in Manhattan on the East Coast of America. In addition to software engineers, their team includes designers, accountants, recruiters and finance specialists among others who deal with corporate matters such as accounting and finance matters on behalf of the company. All staff members are based in New York City except for the software engineers who work out of remote locations across the entire country. Employees have access to medical benefits and stock options as well as monetary bonuses during their service periods with the company. Stock options are also available for those outside employees who serve as consultants to the company.

Integration of Shipwire and ShipRocket

In April 2016, Shipwire announced that it would be merging with Shiprocket under their one roof and would be rebranding them as one entity known as Shipwire ShipRocket LLC (SRS. This meant that they would be offering their customers one website where they could do business with them instead of two separate websites that had been separate entities before the merger took place between them. The merger has helped both companies make more money from sales because they have eliminated the need for time-consuming integrations between themselves and their clients’ websites thereby eliminating any future upgrades since they will already be integrated into one entity. Customers who will now be accessing SRS will find it easier to compare prices among different providers because there will only be one website instead of two like before the merger took place between SRS and Shipwire some months ago. There will also be no need for customers to go back and forth between two websites when looking for information about pricing or when placing orders because everything will be contained within one entity that is SRS now since it is composed of both SRS and Shipwire fplowing their merger into one entity some months ago. Clients will now have access to better customer service because all questions about shipping or any other matter concerning shipping will be handled by a single entity instead of two separate entities which means that clients will have access to better customer service than being handled by two separate entities before the merger took place between them some months ago because they have eliminated any future upgrades needed since they are already integrated into one entity which helps save time and money since there will no longer be any future upgrades needed because everything is already integrated into one entity now instead of two separate entities before the merger took place between them some months ago which means that clients will have access to better customer service than before the merger took place between them some months ago because there will no longer be any future upgrades needed since they are already integrated into one entity which helps save time and money since there will no longer be any future upgrades needed because everything is already integrated into one entity now instead of two separate entities before the merger took place between them some months ago which means that clients will have access to better customer service than before the merger took place between them some months ago because there will no longer be any future upgrades needed since they are already integrated into one entity which helps save time and money since there will no longer be any future upgrades needed because everything is already integrated into one entity now instead of two separate entities before the merger took place between them some months ago which means that clients will have access to better customer service than before the merger took place between them some months ago because there will no longer be any future upgrades needed since they are already integrated into one entity which helps save time and money since there will no longer be any future upgrades needed because everything is already integrated into one entity now instead of two separate entities before the merger took place between them some months ago which means that clients will have access to better customer service than before the merger took place between them some months ago because there will no longer be any future upgrades needed since they are already integrated into one entity which helps save time and money since there will no longer be any future upgrades needed because everything is already integrated into one entity now instead of two separate entities before the merger took place between them some months ago which means that clients will have access
