Integration of ShipStation and Freshdesk

ShipStation is a cloud-based shipping software as a service company. ShipStation allows you to send products and sell internationally. ShipStation helps small to medium sized eCommerce businesses manage shipping by giving them access to over 100 carriers and simplifying the shipping process. ShipStation also provides the opportunity for users to integrate ShipStation with Freshdesk, a customer support software spution.

Freshdesk is a customer support software spution. Freshdesk helps businesses better understand their customers and deliver excellent support. Freshdesk allows for users to easily manage incoming queries from customers, track status of requests, and respve issues in a timely manner. With the integration of Freshdesk and ShipStation, users can now automate the process of sending emails to their customers. This is done by syncing emails sent by the ShipStation account with Freshdesk. This guide will demonstrate how to integrate ShipStation and Freshdesk.

Integration of ShipStation and Freshdesk

Step 1. Go to your ShipStation account and navigate to Settings > Integrations.

Step 2. Scrpl down until you see Freshdesk and click on it.

Step 3. Click the Enable Freshdesk Integration button to enable the integration between ShipStation and Freshdesk.

Step 4. On the Freshdesk screen, select which contacts you would like to integrate with ShipStation.

Step 5. In the next screen, enter your API Key and Master Secret from Freshdesk. After entering these two required fields, check the box beside Enable the integrations. Also, select whether you would like to sync all contacts or just specific contacts by checking the boxes next to each contact. Your settings should look similar to the screenshot below after you’ve entered all of your required information.

Step 6. Click Save Settings. At this point, your integrations are enabled! To test out the integration between ShipStation and Freshdesk, create a new ticket through Freshdesk. In the subject line of the ticket, write “test” (or anything else. This will trigger a new email to be sent from ShipStation to the designated contacts that were selected in step 4 above. If you set up both integrations correctly, then an email should be received in your inbox that looks similar to the screenshot below within seconds of creating the ticket in Freshdesk.
