WooCommerce is an open source e-commerce plugin that lets users sell anything online. It can be used to create an online store using WordPress and is currently the most popular e-commerce plugin in the world. In November 2018, it had over 60 million downloads and was used by over 3 million active stores.

Both Shippo and WooCommerce offer free versions of their software. The free version of Shippo offers automation through integrations to work with your existing carrier relationships and APIs. For WooCommerce users who don’t have any integration set up, they can use the Shippo integration for free. Shippo offers a free plan for WooCommerce users along with integration into their API.

Integration of Shippo and WooCommerce

Integration between Shippo and WooCommerce is easy. If your store is hosted on Shopify or WooCommerce, then you will need to install the Shippo app on your site. To do this, fplow these steps:

First, go to your Shopify or WooCommerce settings page where you will be able to add the Shippo app. If you are not familiar with adding apps from within your e-commerce platform, you can check out this video tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFq9hH7z4s4&feature=youtu.be After having added the app to your site, you can sign into it via the Dashboard tab by clicking on the Gear icon in the top right corner of your screen. Once you are signed in, you can click on “Settings” from the main navigation bar or at the bottom of your screen. In the next screen, you will need to select your site name from the drop down menu and click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the screen. You could also choose to add any additional carriers that you want to allow for shipment from your site or add any specific carriers that are not listed within the drop down menu. After you have selected which carriers you want to use from Shippo, you can now add them to your site. Simply go to your e-commerce platform settings and add them as a shipping option. For example, if you’re using Shopify then click on Settings > Shipping > Shipping Providers > Add a Shipping Provider > Shippo Carrier Service. Now that you have added the Shippo app and integrated it into your site, you can start creating shipments through it. To do this, simply click on “Create a Shipment” from the main navigation bar or at the bottom of your screen. Then select “Add Product” from the drop down menu and search for products that you want to ship. When you have found what you’re looking for, click on “Add Selected Products” and then decide if you want to create a new shipment or use an existing one that has already been created on your site. If this is a new shipment that you want to create, then click on “Create a New Shipment” and enter in all of the necessary information including pick up address, delivery address, tracking number, carrier information, how much it weighs, etc. You will also need to agree with the terms of service agreement before submitting your order (you can read more about this here. The good thing about Shippo is that it has built-in integrations with many carriers so it should automatically determine which carrier will be best for your shipment based on price and estimated delivery time. However, if it doesn’t find what you’re looking for then there is an option called “Manually Select Carrier” where you can choose which carrier to use for your shipment. If this is a shipment that has already been previously created and saved as a template then just click on the “Use Existing Shipment” option when creating a new shipment through Shippo. After completing this process, Shippo will charge a flat rate for each package that you ship through them starting at $5 for packages from 0lbs – 99lbs and going up to $50 for packages from 100lbs – 499lbs. The price will be determined based on what carrier you have chosen to ship with so make sure that you choose wisely for the best price! After choosing your carrier and finalizing your order, you can track its progress by clicking on “View Tracking Status” under “Shipments” in the main navigation bar or at the bottom of your screen. You can also view detailed progress information by clicking on “View Details” under “Track Shipments” in the main navigation bar or at the bottom of your screen. After viewing this information, you can either go back to tracking status or details by clicking on “View Tracking Status” or “View Details” again at the bottom or top of your screen respectively. Once your shipment has been delivered successfully then select “Receive Delivery” under “Shipments” in either your main navigation bar or at the bottom of your screen depending on where you are currently located within Shippo. Once you have received your shipment successfully then you will see an option called “Close Transaction” where you will be able to confirm whether or not the transaction has been completed successfully and then click “Close Transaction” if everything has been fulfilled correctly. After clicking “Close Transaction” then all of your shipments should now appear under the “Closed Shipments” section of your account at the bottom of your screen. If there are any shipments that have not been closed yet then there should be an option called “Receive Delivery” under them where you can confirm whether or not they have been successfully received and then close out whichever shipments are still missing by clicking “Receive Delivery” next to each one until all of them have been closed out successfully. You can then export all of these closed shipments by selecting “Export Data as CSV File” under “Reports & Tops” in either your main navigation bar or at the bottom of your screen depending on where you are currently located within Shippo. Once clicked, then an email will come up where you can download a CSV file containing all of your closed shipments including all of their information such as tracking number, pick up address, delivery address (which will include an invoice), payment amount (this includes taxes), payment date, etc. If there are any shipments that did not get delivered successfully due to lack of payment then they will be included in this file as well as they would have gotten shipped out through another carrier (if applicable. Once exported successfully then there should be an option called “Delete Data” under “Reports & Tops” in either your main navigation bar or at the bottom of your screen depending on where you are currently located within Shippo where you could manually delete all of these shipments individually if needed (make sure that no shipments have been marked as shipped otherwise if they were manually deleted they would not appear in your CSV file. This way if there are any shipments that may have gotten stuck within Shippo then it will give you another chance to re-open those shipments (but only after they get marked as shipped. Once all of these shipments have been exported successfully then you can delete any shipments individually by selecting “Edit/Delete Item(s)” under “Items & Inventory” in either your main navigation bar or at the bottom of your screen depending on where you are currently located within Shippo and click on each individual shipment that needs to be deleted one by one and click “Delete Item(s)” once done until all shipments are deleted successfully from both Shippo and WooCommerce (remember not to delete any shipments that aren’t already marked as shipped otherwise those shipments won
