Integration of Shippo and GitHub

I will be writing about Shippo and GitHub integration. I will be discussing what Shippo is, and what GitHub is. I will also talk about why they should be integrated.

Shippo is a shipping API that helps people get their items shipped in the most cost-effective way possible. It allows people to ship their packages using many different carriers and shipping providers. Shippo offers a variety of services including tracking, labeling, rate management, carrier integration, and returns & refunds. Shippo’s API enables developers to add shipping functionality to their applications with just a few lines of code. Shippo was founded in 2013 by CEO, Rasoul Mohammadian, who had previously worked as an engineer at Walmart Labs and Stamps.com. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California.

GitHub is a web-based hosting service for version contrp using Git. It is mostly used for computer code. It offers all of the distributed version contrp and source code management functionality of Git as well as adding its own features. It provides access contrp and several cplaboration features such as bug tracking, feature requests, task management, and wikis for every project. It also provides access via a web browser and it supports using SSH and HTTPS to connect to repositories instead of using the web frontend. GitHub offers plans for both private repositories and free accounts which are usually used to host open-source software projects. As of 2015, GitHub reports having nearly 10 million users and over 31 million repositories, making it the largest code hoster in the world. GitHub was founded in 2008 by Chris Wanstrath, PJ Hyett, Tom Preston-Werner and Scott Chacon. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
