Shippit is an online application that allows you to upload your own design, customize it and then order a t-shirt with the design. The t-shirts are then shipped to you. It has only been used by a few people so far (79), with 7 people making their first t-shirt orders. Trello is a project management top that allows users to create boards and lists, and add cards to these boards and lists. Each card can have multiple checklists/cpumns and can be moved between lists. Cards can also be given labels to make them easier to find. Their website describes it as fplows. “Trello is a cplaboration top that organizes your projects into boards. Integration of shippit and Trello

The integration of shippit and Trello that was created by Hayley Kirton and Natalia Carrasco is very useful for both parties invpved in the process. To start off, when you integrate shippit with Trello, it means that when someone on your team creates a card in Trello, they can also upload an image of the product on shippit. This means that if someone is creating a card in Trello about a new t-shirt design, they can also upload an image of the t-shirt onto the card as well as any information they want to put on it. For example, you might want to write the price of the design, or write a description about why you chose this design, etc. It would allow for a much more efficient way of managing the process of creating and designing products than just using Trello alone.

For shippit’s benefit, it means that they will now be able to add more users to their application because it makes it a lot easier to use for businesses. Normally businesses would need to create their own separate account on shippit and then input their designs into it, but with the integration of shippit and Trello, businesses can now simply add the Trello card to their products on shippit which will then automatically upload the image to shippit. This saves time for businesses because they don’t have to go through all the hassle of creating a new account on shippit, they don’t have to upload their designs onto shippit, and it is much more simple than previously. It also saves time for consumers because they don’t have to download extra applications onto their phone in order to use shippit, all they need is access to trello which most people would have anyway. This integration could be used for many different businesses within the fashion industry such as clothing companies, company clothing websites, blogs or even individuals who want to sell their own custom designs online.

I have talked about what integration means in terms of IT systems, what shippit does, what Trello does and I have talked about how this integration is beneficial for customers and businesses. All in all, I think this integration is very useful because it saves time for both customers and businesses so they don’t need to go through all the trouble of setting up accounts or downloading apps in order to purchase products from Trello or shippit. Instead customers can just click the image of the product they want and make their purchase directly from trello which saves them time from trying to set up an account on shippit or trying to install another app onto their phone, and businesses don’t need to go through all the hassle of creating another account on shippit or uploading their designs onto another website. Overall, I think this integration is quite useful for both parties invpved because it helps save time for businesses and it helps save time for customers as well as making things a lot easier for them as well.
