Xendit is a European logistics company that provides sputions in the field of order management, shipping, warehousing and delivery. Xendit was founded in 1997 and is based out of Amsterdam, Netherlands. [2]

Integration of Shipcloud and Xendit

This section will describe how Shipcloud and Xendit could potentially integrate with each other. This section will also talk about the benefits of this integration. For purposes of this article, the integration will take place between a small business called “My Business” and Xendit.

Using Shipcloud, My Business can ship goods to Xendit using their own vehicle and manage all aspects of shipping through a single application. In this case, it would be a two-part process. one part where My Business loads the goods onto their vehicle and the second part where they deliver those goods to Xendit.

The first part of the process will occur on the Shipcloud website. My Business enters information about the items being shipped, including quantity and weight. This information is then transmitted into Shipcloud’s fleet management system. The driver receives a notification that they are assigned to complete a shipment, and logs into the system. The driver is provided with all of the necessary information for completing shipment such as the address to deliver to, pickup location, package contents, etc. The driver then loads up the vehicle and delivers the shipment to the proper destination. This integration will allow My Business to save time and money by allowing them to utilize their own vehicles rather than renting trucks from Xendit or another third party provider. This way My Business saves money not only on rental costs but also on fuel costs because they do not need to use an Xendit truck to make deliveries. Also, because My Business uses their own vehicle, they can travel directly from one delivery location to another without having to drive back to their warehouse/location. This would eliminate wasted time by not having to go back to their place of business after making a delivery.
