The app will automatically create a new task item with all necessary details filled out using information from the document file you selected (file name, title, file type, etc.. Alternatively, you can drag a document from your file browser onto any empty space in the app to create a new task item with all information from this file filled out. The app will automatically detect the type of the file (PDF, Word, Excel, etc.. and fill out all fields accordingly (file name, author’s name, file type, etc.. When your project is done and you want to share the final launch date with your team members, all you have to do is to attach this final version of your document as an attachment to a completed task item in MeisterTask. Then simply click on the “Launch Project” button in this task item to create a new project page on your company website which contains this final version of your project documentation attached as a PDF file for each team member to see. This feature improves the workflow between tasks/projects and documents by reducing the number of clicks required to complete basic tasks (adding attachments. Now you don’t need to switch back and forth between the two apps in order to ensure that all required information is added to your tasks/projects (documents. Easily integrate your organization’s calendar with tasks or projects. You can link any event created in SharePoint calendar with any task or project created by using the MeisterTask app. Event creators can easily notify relevant people about upcoming events by adding these people as attendees directly from the event creation form without leaving their calendar app. Each attendee will receive a notification email with all relevant details about this meeting as soon as they accept their invitation (subject line, event location, etc..
