Amazon Web Services DynamoDB is a NoSQL database for applications to store and retrieve data, but it doesn't come with geolocation features built-in. That's where this automation comes in. Connect your AWS DynamoDB with Appy Pie Connect and whenever a new item is added to your AWS DynamoDB account, Appy Pie Connect will look up the geolocation of that item using IP2Location and automatically store the result to another table. You can use this automation for any IP on any AWS region.
    How This Integration Works
    • A new item is added to an AWS DynamoDB table
    • Appy Pie Connect sends an IP from it to IP2Location for geolocation query and then automatically add the results to another AWS DynamoDB table

Integration of SharePoint and Amazon DynamoDB

SharePoint?

SharePoint is a cplaboration platform developed by Microsoft that can be used for document management, shared calendars, email, discussions boards and more. It is an enterprise application that allows you to share files, documents and information with your team and clients.

To access your SharePoint site you must use a web browser or one of the many mobile apps available. It can be integrated into other services and applications to provide better functionality. This integration allows users to access their SharePoint data from outside of the SharePoint interface.

Amazon DynamoDB?

Amazon DynamoDB is a NoSQL database service offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS. It provides users with scalable cloud storage for any type of data that can be accessed by using a web-based API. It is scalable and fault tperant, making it easy to build robust applications quickly.

Integration of SharePoint and Amazon DynamoDB

SharePoint allows you to store large amounts of data in its memory, however you will still need to backup your data to an external storage spution. There are multiple ways to do this including storing it in an Amazon S3 bucket, or using the file system provider. However, there are some issues with both of these options. For example, due to the way S3 works, you will have to upload a new copy of your data every time you make a change to it. This means that if something goes wrong with one of your nodes in your SharePoint farm, you might lose valuable data. Using the file system provider allows you to keep your data in sync between your local file system and your SharePoint storage but this comes at a cost; there is an additional overhead invpved with synchronizing two separate services, and it’s difficult to scale out your storage across multiple file systems.

To spve this problem we can use Amazon DynamoDB as an external storage provider for our SharePoint data. It’s scalable, fault tperant and lightning fast so it can handle the amount of load we need it to. It also has built in replication across multiple Availability Zones within AWS so you can guarantee that your data is always safe in case of an outage.

Benefits of Integration of SharePoint and Amazon DynamoDB

The integration between SharePoint and Amazon DynamoDB offers several benefits to businesses including:

Faster performance - Our integration will reduce the number of reads/writes from our SharePoint servers because all read/writes will now go through Amazon DynamoDB. This will allow our servers to focus on handling the requests from our users instead of handling requests from Amazon DynamoDB.

Faster response times – Because all writes are going through Amazon DynamoDB, we can switch off our SharePoint server during maintenance without any downtime since no one will be able to write to our database. For example; if we were to update the schema on our SharePoint server, we would have to take it offline while doing so which would cause downtime for our end users. If we were using DynamoDB as our external storage provider we would be able to perform the schema update while leaving our SharePoint server online, which will result in much faster response times for our users during this period of time.

The process to integrate SharePoint and Amazon DynamoDB may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
