An ActiveCampaign user creates a new email campaign, mailing list or automation workflow in the ActiveCampaign application. This process sends instructions to the designated mail server (or servers. that tells them how to send out emails to recipients based on a certain time frame or trigger event (such as when someone has opened an email or clicked a link. The recipients of the emails will then receive the messages in their inboxes via one of their connected mail servers (such as Outlook or Gmail. Once the recipient opens their messages, they will notice that there is a link within the email that directs them back to the ActiveCampaign application where they can actually begin interacting with the campaign itself. From this point forward, the user performing the original action can monitor the results of his/her actions by tracking statistics and reports on the various activities being performed by the system through an ActiveCampaign dashboard page located within the application. This dashboard is accessible via any computer or device connected to the internet via a web browser. Thus, if a customer is using ActiveCampaign while on their home computer but notices that he/she needs to respond to an email message sent out by one of their business associates or cpleagues who had sent a message while at his/her office using SharePoint, all they would need to do is log into their account from any device with an internet connection and check to see if they have any new messages. If they do have new messages, they will be able to respond back from wherever they happen to be at any given time (i.e., on a flight, at home or at work.
