Integration of ServiceNow and Zoho Desk

  • ServiceNow is a cloud-based platform that provides IT service management. It is used by more than 1,200 enterprise customers in the healthcare, insurance, education, energy, and financial services industries.
  • ServiceNow was founded in 2003 in San Diego, California by Fred Luddy, Michael DeMaria, and Van Lindberg. The company began development in 2005 and launched ServiceNow 1.0 in March 2007. In May 2009, ServiceNow acquired Zaius (sales automation), which led to the addition of a sales module to the platform. On January 7, 2010, ServiceNow introduced the self-service portal and the ability for managers to delegate tasks.

    In April 2010, ServiceNow launched ServiceNow 2.0, which included data integration capabilities and an updated web interface.

    On July 21, 2011, HP announced it had agreed to acquire ServiceNow for $5.3 billion in cash plus $700 million in assumed equity awards. The acquisition was completed on November 4, 2011.

    In June 2014, ServiceNow announced the acquisition of Loggly.

    In August 2015, ServiceNow announced the acquisition of FieldOne.
