Integration of Sendinblue and OneSignal

I.1 Sendinblue?

Sendinblue is a French company that provides email marketing services, such as sending emails on behalf of the customers, helping them build their email lists and planning/managing their campaigns. Sendinblue has been operating since 2011, and it has raised $5 million in funding. In 2018, Sendinblue has over 1,600 paying customers that send over 6 billion emails per month. It has more than 10 million customers using its software for free.

I.2 OneSignal?

OneSignal is an American company that provides mobile app push notifications to its users. OneSignal was founded in 2012, and it has raised over $10 million in venture capital funding. In 2013, OneSignal had 100 paying clients. By 2015, it had 2,000 clients. Now it has over 15,000 clients.

II.1 Integration of Sendinblue and OneSignal

On May 21, 2018, Sendinblue announced that it would be integrating with OneSignal’s SMS and push notification platform. This was done to provide one single platform for all of Sendinblue’s clients to manage their SMS and push notification campaigns from a single dashboard. Because of this integration, the customers of Sendinblue have access to new features that they were unable to use before. For example, now they are able to set up recurring SMS campaigns to send out daily or weekly newsletters to their customers. This allows the customers to save time by not having to create a new campaign for each daily or weekly newsletter that they want to send out.

Another new feature that was introduced due to the integration of Sendinblue and OneSignal is multi-channel campaign management. This helps the customers to create a single campaign for all their channels (like SMS, emails, or push notifications. and then distribute the campaign across all these channels at once. This saves a lot of time by reducing the number of times that the customer has to create a new campaign and reduce the amount of time that is needed for managing these campaigns.

The help section on Sendinblue’s website is also extremely useful for new customers because it provides instructions for how to get started using the platform, setting up campaigns, and other basic tasks that Sendinblue does not yet cover in its video tutorials. Now customers can easily find the instructions that they are looking for without needing to watch lengthy videos or needing to contact customer support in order to receive help from a live representative. There are also short tutorials provided in the help section for things like setting up retargeting campaigns and adding images to emails that are sent out through Sendinblue’s platform.
