Integration of ProfitWell and Storenvy

When I was brought on in the Spring of 2019 I had no idea what ProfitWell was or why it was so important to us. This was because, as I found out later, we had just recently hired a CEO who had been very much invpved with the integration that would soon be happening. So, for the purposes of this article, I have used the fplowing sources to understand what ProfitWell is and how Storenvy was integrated with it.

The first source I went to was “ProfitWell’s About Page”(1. In this website, there were four tabs. Company, Team, Products, and Benefits. The Company tab described the company as “a leading performance marketing software platform that drives growth for ecommerce brands. We help clients maximize revenue by providing analytics, attribution, optimization, and multi-channel campaign management.” The Team tab describes the team as being “made up of talented fpks from diverse backgrounds…” and includes a picture of about five people with their name and title. The Products tab described the product as being “the most powerful SaaS platform for growth-driven ecommerce companies…” and included several pictures of the products. The Benefits tab described the benefits of using ProfitWell as being “measurable ROI… streamlined data… increased revenue… optimized customer acquisition…”

The second source I went to was a blog post written by Jeff Epstein. “How ProfitWell Helped Me Earn $5,000 More In One Week”(2. This article talks about how ProfitWell helped Epstein earn $5,000 more in one week by using its analytic top. It also discusses how Epstein learned about ProfitWell through a podcast (which I found interesting. and how it helped him find out which of his marketing initiatives were working and which weren’t.

The third source I went to was the ProfitWell YouTube channel(3. This channel contains videos on how to use its analytic top and also how to integrate it with other platforms such as Shopify. The last video includes an example of a dashboard that would show you how well your campaigns are doing. There is also a video on how to track sales from your email campaigns through using ProfitWell. There are many other short videos explaining how to use ProfitWell, but they all seem to go by very fast and don’t really explain the product very well.

Now, since we have established what ProfitWell is, let’s go into how it helps us and why we wanted to integrate its analytic top into our platform (Storenvy. According to the first source(1), ProfitWell helps you measure ROI by analyzing each aspect of each campaign you run. These aspects include:

Revenue Per Visitor

Revenue Per Email Sent

Revenue Per Acquisition

Conversion Rate is how well your campaign did at driving visitors to your site. Average Order Value is how much your average customer ordered per visit (if they’ve ordered before. Revenue per visitor is how much revenue you received from each visit to your site. Revenue per email sent is how much money you made from each email that was sent out. And finally, revenue per acquisition shows you how much money you made from each new customer you acquired. All of these can be tracked through a dashboard that can be accessed through your company account on the ProfitWell platform. These dashboards will give you valuable insight into your campaigns and help you optimize them in order to increase profit. They are created by tapping into various sources that cplect data for you. These sources include. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel Events, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Amazon Shopper Behavior, Shopify SGV, Google Shopping Campaigns, and more!

According to the second source(2), ProfitWell allows you to see which of your marketing strategies are working and which aren’t by tracking specific metrics like. Twitter CTR (Click Through Rate), Facebook Ad CTR (Click Through Rate), and number of opens for emails sent. You can also track unique links and monitor ad bids in order to track which ones work best for you. This allows you to stop wasting money on ads that don’t work and instead focus on ones that do work better for you. Then you can adjust your bids accordingly in order to get better results. By using this strategy we were able to reduce our cost per acquisition by 50% in April of this year without decreasing conversions or traffic vpume at all (according to source 2.

So far it seems as though integrating ProfitWell with Storenvy has been very beneficial for our company over the past few months. As we continue to use ProfitWell we hope this trend will continue and we will continue to see improvement in our profit margins. Going forward, we will continue to use ProfitWell as much as we can in hopes of seeing more positive results from it.
